I can't stand the "You can't blame him for wanting the big fights here" way of thinking.

Hatton, who had a bigger following than then whole Ingle stable COMBINED had to travel. A handful of times, too.

Someone like Ricky could have milked Manchester BONE DRY, but he never.

Kell is the champion of THE WORLD. Not Sheffield. Get out there if they won't come to you. His fan-base isn't as big as you think it is.

Besides, NOBODY is coming to Sheffield to fight Kell. The amount of time he's had the belt has proved that. He has got to go on the road again.

I think Eddie gets all the blame, But I reckon Kell is very stubborn and just won't see sense and travel.

Kell is to blame in this nonsense too.

Kell has had success on the road - his biggest win in his career came when he travelled - so if he has to go then he should get it done as he is wasting his prime on these mandatories.

At least he fought a legit ATG in Kosta at home.

Manny & May abroad as well?

When Ricky fought abroad he fought top fighters.

Yeah that wrestling match with kosta in his home town as challenger

Manny and may were his pension

You do realise his fans were mainly football fans
Where is his British \ euro title:-(

He could not get one as he would have had to face Witter

Which he told the fans on TV to third faces was going to happen
    Khan just pinched wickys path:oops:

Now canelo and brook have a comman opponent and Rhodes brooks gym mate both have brook as better boxer and punching harder so take from that what you will
We won't listen to the pros take on it we should just listen to you:tired

That's on top of Floyd rating him very highly

True, but he holds a belt and has had some fantastic company since he won the belt. None of whom he has faced!

    How many WBU defences?
Boxing Stephen Smith, Rowland and Magee but wouldn't fight Witter despite claiming on TV that he'd had the fight written into his contract!

That's down to Waz-za. We both know he milked his fighters dry (Calz was the same).

Did Hatton have the Witter fight written into his contract or was he telling porkies?

He should forget Khan, its always annoying when boxers chase someone like that and put their own career on hold, he should have stepped up by now, especially since that win against Porter.

Kell needs to fight the other top guys in the division, and Eddie needs to let him go over to the U.S to do this.. If he beats Garcia, Thurman in the U.S it builds his profile there..

From a U.S stand point his win over Porter was not impressive IMO, it could of went to Porter too, it was a close fight..

You cant make it big fighting in the U.K..

He fights in division which has more big names and quality opponents than all the others yet his standard of opponent, Porter aside, has been woeful!

I can understand he has had to fight substandard mandatories to retain his title- but in between he should have fought someone of quality but instead he and Hearn choose to fight Gavin and mug the punters off by charging PPV for it.

Don't forget his last fight was against Chaves as well so that would have been a run of Jo Jo Dan, Frankie Gavin and Diego Chaves- now he is fighting Blizier. 4 fights arranged and all against sub standard opposition.

He has had 35 fights! he is in the prime of his career and we don't know how good he really is as he has fought nobody of note. It is criminal.

For me Brook is one of those fighters who has abused the world title.

He`s not a "real" world champion at welter he is a joke who wants to fight at home and take no risks.
