Malignaggi can get far bigger fights at the barclays centre.

Brook would get BADLY exposed if he fought the top guys at 140-147.

An old shot Mosley?? That is very brave of Brook. Not surprising as he showed his courage when he backed off two separate fixed dates against Alexander. Perhaps he should do a trilogy with Carson Jones and claim greatness.

What are you talking about "backing off"? Did Alexander not pull out too? Was one genuinely injured and the other not?

And why would he do a trilogy with Carson Jones? He just beat him down with ease.

Finally, Mosley just beat Cano, did he not? Cano gave Malignaggi some serious difficulty, did he not? But Malignaggi just went the distance with Broner, competing every step of the way, did he not?

Make no bones about this, I want Brook to fight Broner. Plain and simple! If not, Alexander or Khan would be grand, but unlikely. Maidana would be good too. If options are limited however, Mosley is still a step up. Even if it is a small one.

Alexander cancelled first through injury, all these people bashing Brook are ******ed. Brook did 3 fight camps for a fight that never happened, guy was gutted.

People will take a centimeter and run a mile. If Brook was genuinely injured, he was scared of Alexander and didn't want to risk his "0" to win a world title. Morons!

Jones is a tough guy who knows how to apply pressure and has a consistant body attack (an increasingly rare thing). He can box too, it's just that he knew that the best way to fight Brook is to pressure him and he's proved himself right. He's a good fighter in a stacked division with a handful of living legends at the top of it. He's got pig iron balls as well, not an easy nights work. I'm not saying this to inflate Brook either, I'm saying it because I believe as a fighter, and as a man (I'm saying the latter because of what I learned about his start in life in the last couple of days) Carson Jones deserves his measure of respect, he's earned it. Even from dickheads on the internet.

Brook's a very talented fighter lads, has stamina issues but if he can correct that he can go all the way in the division beating anyone apart from Mayweather of course.

Don't underestimate Kell is all I'm saying, at 25 he's still got some improving to do and apart from stamina issues this guy has a lot in his armoury.

"opponent to be announced next week"

After he fought Saturday? I guess we know what this means. A solid "domestic level" match up involving a top 5 UK WW, also known as a top 30 actual WW.

Carson deserves respect in that he has great heart, toughness, and a pretty good motor in terms of workrate, but all that said, everything else he brings to the table is average at best. Jones is not a world level guy, he's a high level journeyman, and yet Brook went life and death with him in fight one(at proper Welterweight) and though he clearly won, he struggled a bit with him in fight two(at a higher weight which was changed from 150 to 152 at the last minute for Brook). So logically, one would think that Brook might be ok given the right matchup(like Malignaggi or Mosley), but against the real talent in the division he doesn't have much hope.

Exactly. The guy is a very skillful fighter with decent power.. I was at the fight and he impressed me even more seeing him 'live'
