He has never lost and is not your average welterweight he looks like a natural 160 fighter.

This is the fight of his life when someone of a elite level is fighting for his life its not a easy fight i don't care who you are.

From everyone who knows him he is hitting a lot harder and is stronger because he does not need to drain himself anymore this is a known fact in boxing draining yourself zaps the strength and power from you.

Kell must stay away early from Golovkin to get him to the later rounds the crowd will spur him on his ability to take the shots will be the most important factor.

We know Brook is already a study fighter but what we don't know is how sturdy he is he could go beyond our expectations.

I can't wait for this big fight.

Partially agree. Brook is big at welterweight, and he's also got an awkward style and good mobilty that will make it difficult for GGG to land clean. If he makes it a boxing match I expect him to do much better than Khan did against Canelo, since Khan is a blown up lightweight and not as naturally strong as Brook.

Told today that brook at the 30 day way in was only 4-5lbs over what he would have been fighting at 147, how he makes 147 is beyond me.

I think brook will do well but still siding with ggg, extra muscle will slow brook down later on, ggg late stoppage after round 9.

how he thinks he can manage at 160lb is beyond me.

we all feel stronger gaining weight, muscle.

what extra muscle? You just said he was only a few lbs over what he'd usually be. This is because they'l be bringing his weight down slower which is always better. He had 8 weeks to prep for this fight, he came into camp in the 180's. It's impossible in 8 weeks to bring down your weight whilst also gaining any muscle & obviously doing all the high intensity boxing training.

My one concern is that Brook was hurt against Carson Jones in their first fight. I appreciate that was a while ago, but he got caught and was in trouble. Doesn't happen to GGG.

When was he hurt though? He was tired, gassed and broke his nose. There wasn't any point in the fight where brook was abot to be ko'd... he was just tired. It was well documented at the time that he wasn't cutting weight properly nor training properly..

Agree with a lot of what you said but I disagree he needs to stay away from GGG early. In fact, I feel the opposite. I think he needs to land something very solid in the first couple of rounds. Part of GGG's success is based on fighters going into survival mode against him from round one, allowing him to spend the whole fight marching them down.

I want to see GGG being forced onto the back foot. The fact he never chooses to fight this way is partly due to his undoubted talent and partly due to a resume of average to decent fighters that he knew he could disregard in terms of offense and walk through their shots. I suspect he's not anywhere as effective being pushed back.

If Kel can somehow push him back and then work inside, his chances improve immeasurably. GGG avoids close up clinches for a reason - presumably because he's nowhere near as effective there. All his work is done from mid-range. GGG is an incredibly one-dimensional fighter, albeit peerless in that style of boxing.

It's a tough call for Brook to do this, but he needs to earn GGG's respect very early and try to put some doubts in his mind. That's why Brook will come in the ring at least as heavy, maybe heavier than GGG, so he can impose his physicality. I'm not saying he will do all this, only that I think he needs to, if he wants to shock the world.

I've seen heavy-handed punchers who looked all but unbeatable their whole career, unravel in the ring once their dominance was challenged. The Achilles' heal of the bully is to bully them first. Brook has got to be brave, but not reckless.

Everyone has assumed it will be a slick mover who will prove GGG'S biggest challenge but I do wonder if being roughed up would take him out of his comfort zone.

Kell Brook is going to lose. Why? Because he's a WW and he's fighting a MW at 160.

Well yes, if you look at Brook's fight record it will show he's fought all his career at 147. That makes him a welter by anyone's measure.

But if you look a little deeper into his career, you'll find it took him years to get the world title fight he craved. He waited so long for his shot, he couldn't risk moving up in weight until he'd secured a world title fight for the fear of having to wait even longer to move into contention in a higher weight division. Had his world title come along in 2011 or 2012, then I am sure he would be a 154 by now.

My point is, physically speaking Brook hasn't been a welter for years but professionally he has. In reality, he's not jumping two weight classes to make this fight, not in terms of physicality.
