I hear a lot of Brit boxers talking a good game about Brook hyping the hell out of him, talking a good game, they even sound like they believe it, and quite a few fans who trust their judgment seem to be jumping on that bandwagon.

It reminds me of a line from one of my favorite songs.:D

"Cause when you trust someone, illusion has begun
No way to prepare, impending despair"

Yes he is, and I say that as one of Brook's biggest American fans. He'll be lucky to make it past 4 rounds.

    True

But i would say brook is stronger physically then canelo matthew hatton fought both and said brook is the better fighter and hits harder

    people are underestimating brook

I agree Kell would beat Canelo IMO.

That being said.... Canelo wouldn't make it past 6 rounds with GGG either.

When a fighter truly believes, they are far harder to beat.
Brook with the extra weight will possibly have better punch resistance and possibly hit harder. The extra weight may hinder in the later rounds but if he has trained for that it may not be a factor.
I dont think Brook looks like a MW when you consider the size of fighters like Hopkins, Pavlik, Taylor etc or even fighters like Quillin but Golovkin doesnt look massively bigger when they are next to each other, though fight night may be a different story.
I am looking forward to this match up. It creates alot of interest when an underdog takes a big chance and full credit to Brook for taking the chance

Brook looks huge and he has some skills. He might even be a future belt holder at 154 and maybe even 160, but... He isn´t as skillful as Golovkin, he isn´t as strong as Golovkin, he isn´t as tough as Golovkin and list goes on.. Brook might go even to 8th or 9th round, but he will fall eventually. Trust me!

GGG might carry Kell for a few rounds, like he did Monroe, just to make the match seem more legit, so that's a tricky one, but if GGG comes out aggressively looking for a KO, then yeah its a good possibility.

As far as Canelo-Smith goes, yeah that's entirely believable, in fact it wouldn't shock me to see Liam win and by KO, I doubt Canelo will try to walk Liam down and KO him, too much risk. If Liam gets too aggressive he may go down, but if Liam paces himself well, invests to the body, he may be able to pull off the upset of the year.

GGG might carry brook he does not like to end fights easy often sometimes he intends to make it last a bit but some of them can't even take the held back power from golovkin or they give up kell wont give up thats for sure.

Better chance to what? Certainly not win.

Brook has skill and moves well. However, he hasn't been in a situation where he moves as a survival tactic. There is too much working against him in this fight to even imagine a shred of a chance.

    1. His power is unlikely (even if better than at ww) to be anything that shocks Golovkin
    2. This is GGG's comfortable weight, not Brooks
    3. Ggg has blasted throigh his opponents, while brook has struggled with lesser opponents.
    4. Golovkin cuts off the ring well and likely doesn't take a single step back the whole fight. Round 3 on, it will be survival mode.
    5. Kell has never faced a body puncher like this.

I really want to give Kell props for this fight, but it's seriously idiotic for him to think he has any chance at all. At 154, then ok now we have a fight. 160 is annihilation.

'Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face'. That has never been more relevant than for this fight.

Brook will think to himself that he can handle GGG physically as I don't expect them to look much different on the night. But....the first time Brook takes a flush shot he will be on his bike all fight. GGG will hunt and hunt and eventually destroys.
