To be honest, I doubt there are many people here who wouldn't pull out of a fight for a few hundred thousand for a fight against the biggest name in the sport for £2-3mill.

And that comes from someone who thinks Alexander is a boring ******* with little heart.

 

It doesnt matter who would and wouldnt do it at the end of the day if he's feigned injury to get out of a fight that's weeks away its a disgraceful move and damages the sport.Same with Wlad.

If he ends up fighting Mayweather i hope he gets humilated .

 

Well, it kind of does matter who would and wouldn't do it because if it's something you yourself, or the majority of the public, would do then it would be hypocritical to go overboard in condemning it. As **** as it is, I would probably do the same thing in his position.

I agree, it's a shitty move for his opponent, for the promoters and for the fans who have paid to go see the fight. But I also understand that the dream of any fighter in these division to face the biggest name in the sport, have their shot at superstardom and secure their retirement fund. There's no saying this chance would have come round again.

Anyway, as I say, it's a slimey move, a blatant lie and I hope (and am pretty sure) he'll get humiliated in a onesided fight. I was really ****ing hyped to see the Brook fight.

 

It would be hilarious if Mayweather ended up fighting Brook on 5th May instead of Alexander
