Interview from the Site the hypes fights BT: Hey how you doing Kell? KB: I'm doing good Ben, thanks for asking. BT: I know you're busy so I won't take long. I just wanted to know if you watched the Khan/Peterson fight? KB: Well actually I did, Ben. I thought Peterson won by a point, but let me you something. Amir Khan has no shot at beating me. I don't see any versatility in Amir Khan. When I watch him, I see a one-dimensional fighter. BT: Do you think the ref was fair? KB: Well the thing is, you have to adjust to different refs, but you can't blame them for your loss. You know, Peterson beat Khan and Bradley beat Peterson, but nobody has beat Kell Brook yet. I'm beating these guys with my C and D game. I haven't even showed them my A game yet. BT: Ha, right, right I feel you. Do you see anything in Peterson's style that could trouble you? KB: Do I think Peterson can bother me? Absolutely not! I mean we're talking about that got his ass whooped by Timothy Bradley and got a draw to Victor Ortiz. And we all know he should have lost that fight. I'd throw him in a dungeon naked. BT: Is there any fighters out right now that you're interested in? KB: Look, I'm the cash cow. I'm the face of boxing. I've done more ppv numbers in my last fight than the whole sport has done all year. I don't have to chase anybody. I heard Andre Berto wants some. Well if he's the best, then take the test. I've never known somebody to turn down 25 million dollars over a drug test. Have you? BT: Naw man KB: And the thing is, I'm not picking on anybody. I'm making every fighter take the test. I'm just trying to clean up the sport of boxing. BT: Well i'll let you go Kell. It was nice talking to you. KB: Thanks Ben, and I want everybody to know they can follow on twitter @Kell__Brook This content is protected
"I want to be able to separate the average from the good and from the great. I want to separate the ordinary from the Kell Brook." Kell Brook
IDK............el Nino Rodriguez is 36-0 34 KOs......is there a blueprint. Fighting domestic level comp while your best win is vs a guy with an 80% winning % doesn't make for a grade A fighter. IMO, Brook has all the tools but a Hatton fight should have been made as soon as he beat Jackiewicz but instead he's fighting another Cclass guy. Ndou was well past his prime, and in the lighter weights guys can go from shot to **** in one fight, so gauging him from that fight is damned near impossible as well. When is Brook gonna step up.....I though Jackie was his last Cclass fighter.:scaredas:
Typical Special K hater. You might be on the other side of the fence for now, but after Saturday night you'll be on Brookside
Uh oh, here come the haters. Comparing Rodriguez to Kell atsch He's gone through all the best the Britain, Europe & Africa has to offer without getting out of 2nd gear. Now he's going to the US & all the haters start hating :-(
