Khan is his only pay day left and it is the only thing Brook has been chasing since GGG smashed his face in.

He does not have the appetite for anyone else.

If you know what he is like around Sheffield you will know him as a drifter, just driving around in his Maserati or BMW aimlessly or being out near the local kebab places in Burngreave or at Imrans.

 

I agree, he doesn't have the appetite for anyone else, I thought that of Kahn a few year ago with Mayweather though, but with Brook, that's serious facial damage he's took now and i'm sure most fighters would lose a bit of confidence after that. If you think Brook is finished, then why are you insistent he face Hurd or Charlo, rather than another finished British fighter like Khan?

He's (been) chasing Khan because:

1. They are big domestic rivals
2. Essentially same weight class now,
3. Promises a big purse and attendance

He got injured, and unfortunately, has been battling injury for a spell now. 100% healthy, I believe we see a much different Brook. Of course, by now, that's moot. But right now, jury is still out on his foreseeable future. I don't pretend to be a mind reader

He'll never be 100% again imo, love him to prove me wrong, but if Kahn hadn't of got a deal with Hearn I think Kell would've announced his retirement by now. I think he was keen on 154lb but I feel that's waned a little now and it seems just the Kahn fight is all he wants

Of course. I was speaking hypothetically about if he was 100%. He's likely waiting on a Khan cash out fight. Seeing as neither he nor Khan are top players in their division, a cash out fight doesn't bother me. Rather see the young guys face one another rather than see Brook get the Trout/Lara treatment of being used for younger foes.
