This guys is seriously good. He held his own against Golovkin, probably would have lost even if his eye socket stayed in tact but it would have been close, he for me beat Porter convincingly, he would have beaten Spence had his eye socket stayed in tact, outboxing him all night. Great footwork, great defence, upper body movement, speed, combinations, chin, good power... he has it all but it seems his biggest weakness is his eye socket, if not for that he would be top 10 p4p easily.
Yet nobody gives him credit, people only speak how he almost got killed by Golovkin, when it was a very close fight overshadowed by the eye socket, same with Spence, people saying he gave up and that Spence is one of the best p4p, when in truth all Brook gave him a beating before his eye socket fractured and he protected his eye sight by ending the fight.

Maybe, I certainly think he was underrated before his loss to Spence, I had him 4-2 up after the 6th before the injury dominated the course of the fight (not taking anything away from Spence BTW, he traveled to England and forced the issue to get the win). At this stage though I just don't think those orbitals will hold up, and the injuries were so well documented (and in two high profile fights no less) that any boxer he's matched with now will know all about them. So it'll just be a case of picking an eye and going to work.

He would have beaten Spence if he didn't have the injury. He was clearly outboxing him. Spence had to work closer and use combinations to keep up with Brook.

He showed superior timing and speed against Spence... The injury was unfortunate.

Brook's peak and prime has been and gone. If he gets buzzed to the face by a puncher there is a risk it could cause a serious injury to him. He needs to fight a few more Frankie Gavins and Jojo Dans, collect some retirement money and call it a day.

Before his injuries he was very underrated, sadly he took the gamble of fighting GGG and it didn't pay off in the long run.

A fully fit Brook could've cleaned up at 147, he was definitely ahead against Spence until injury took over. We could've been looking at great matches like Thurman vs Brook and now Crawford vs Brook but instead you've got a fighter that is always going to have that orbital bone injury hanging over him every time he fights.

He could even have been a force at 154 but he was too brave for his own good in the end. You have to wonder if he was kinda goaded into the GGG fight by the people who kept saying he hadn't fought anyone and was ducking despite the fact he was dealing with mandatories.

The injuries weren't freak accidents, the blokes were punching Kelly Brookbackmountain with intentions to break his face. Its just like saying Khan would have beaten Canelo if he didn't get KTFO.

Brook is the most overrated active fighter, 1 decent win which was razor close and people think he is p4p

I think you are mistaking a legit P4P fighter for your boyfriend Eubank who couldn;t punch his way through a paper bag.

Sorry to break it to you, but if Brook never gets a meaningful win ever again he is still LIGHT YEARS ahead of Eubank jr.

I think his skill levels been underrated for years. But its a big but...it takes more than skill to beat the top guys. Brook didnt have the full package for me. Ticked so many boxes. But when it came down to it he was just missing a few boxes to beat the real top guys. Missed the boat sitting fighting nobodies for too long. When the big oppertunities started to come he was finished at the weight. I think head to heads he comes out favourably against the top guys cause his skill levels very high. But saying it and actually doing its two different things. I think spence was getting to him anyway...put to many into the body for it not to pay off.

Honestly he is damaged goods now, anytime he gets hit on the face mentally he will lose worrying about losing sight...

Needs to call it a day...

Gotta be honest as I had Brook all wrong before and well it's clear that Hearn was telling the truth about Brook being avoided cause anyone prepared to move up and fight that monster must of been desperate for a big fight, thing is though it really did ruin his career and Golovkin "I break his face" has over five manic rounds destroyed both physically and clearly mentally as seen against Spence.
I said before the Spence fight that I hoped both guys win or lose get the respect they deserved cause Brook could of swerved and Spence ran the risk of fighting in his backyard, anyway Brook fought a great fight but Spence showed what a tough guy he is actually and for me he's the natural successor to Golovkin at middleweight.

Hope Brook can find it in him but have you seen him lately he's looking like Nadeem does now no s*** lol.
