Depends who is rating him. I think most people hold him in reasonably high regard. He did well against Spence; it was certainly competitive but the stoppage was owing to Spence's work. Sorry, the quit - not the stoppage. Brook is good, but I'd leave it at that.

You mean overrated? Special my ass!! ever since he fought that journeyman and struggled, what was his name? The guy who he had a rematch with and still struggled to get him out of there.. Then when he fought Schevchenko and his legs went funny when he got clipped. All the signs were there. He dosent have the heart to be elite. Heart is what Spece has. Comes to England comes to Sheffield Broooks back yard. All the nerves in the world knowing what the English refs are like and knowing that Hearn would have had a couple of the judges payed off. Not starting well and behind in the fight, but I knew that spence was class and I had a tonne of money on him, So my mates are there, at Brammal Lane and they ring me whilst im watching in my living room on the 60 inch, and he says to me 'Whats going on ? Spence is losing and its round 7?' and I calmly reply 'Don't worry mate its money in the bag he's about to get stopped'. BOOOM

Glass Eye, i have heard it all now :eusa_dance:

in all fairness to the topic, i rated brook until he started taking very soft touches after the porter fight. whether thats a promoter issue idk.
i think by fighting those soft touches he lost just a little step as he had it so easy. Then took the golovkin fight which was madness and a money grab (fair play)

i thought porter won tho :devil-flip:

Brook is going to win a few belts at 154lbs. He's got a good 3-5 years left. ;)
