What a fking joke. First Gavin then Rios? Brook is going to continue his run of fighting bums now that he beat Porter huh?
Brook won't ever fight anybody that is a threat until he gets paid a fortune by Khan, so don't expect him to get in the ring with anybody with a pulse soon because Khan doesn't want to give him that payday.
Thurman's been calling him out and instead of fighting him it seems Hearn is trying to tie him up until a Khan fight could be made......
I don't understand how Rios is not a good opponent for Brook. Rios has a good resume and he's a very good fighter. He's a decent opponent for pretty much everyone in WW. People really underestimate him. You can't compare Rios to Algeri at all. Rios is fighting top level for the last 5 years, established himself in the WW division, whereas Algieri was a total nobody until a year ago and is really a light WW fighter who needs to move up to fight Khan.
I'd say Brook will school Rios and it will be cut and dry and not even close on the cards - but Abril schooled Rios and got robbed, and Brooks schooled Porter and only squeaked by on the cards, so... :think
:deal Dare I put Rios in top 10 welter list? ok maybe he's just right outside of top 10 but he's tough and a good test for anyone
:rofl:rofl:rofl LOL. Please explain how Rios at 147, or Gavin is higher level than Porter. Who exactly have they beat? A loss to Bundu, and beating a methead Alvarado in teh third fight are better than dismantling Alexander and Malinaggi huh?
Gavin isn't fully established yet. But if you look at Rios' resume, the dude never fought a bum since 2009, only B+ grade fighters. I'd consider him a slightly more established fighter compared to Porter. He will be the biggest test Brook ever faced.
You're joking, right? He was the walking dead at the lower weights. He look drained and his face looked sunken at the weigh in versus Pac.
Diego Chaves, who was always a WW and a decent one, couldn't handle Rios' size and power, got himself DQ'd as he had to resort to constant clinching after a point. I don't think anyone who watches that fight will suggest Rios belongs to lower divisions. If there's one thing he does, it's overpowering and overwhelming his opponents.
I'm sure nobody would have complained if Khan fought Algeiri straight after he beat Provodnikov. And I'm sure nobody would have complained if Khan fought Rios, straight after Khan was KO'd by Garcia. All in context but you're either 8 years old or re****ed so lack basic common sense to figure this out. You should have that checked out. Just sayin.
Well. Gavin has pedigree. But he is still an amateur, and he won't get much better. He fought alright against Bundu, and Bundu is a tough man. He looked like **** against skeete though, he faced a taller rangier counterpuncher and gavin can't fight on the front foot. Like many amateurs. Point scorers that's it.
:bbb yep I like Special K but if he tries to tie up Bam Bam....ummmmm uppercut city:!::dead:deal :smoke
