Kell Brook looked good!!! He is super strong @ 154lbs, needs to fight Hurd next!!!!

Assuming troll post yeah? He has speed and power but tonight had no movement or head movement.
I think Hurd blasts him out.

 

I agree. If it happens, Brook might well mave a few bright spots in the first two or three rounds, as Welborn did; but once Hurd gets into his groove and cranks up the pressure, he will walk right through Brook and bomb him out.

As it is, Jarrett Hurd is not Amir Khan, so Brook is probably utterly disinterested -- to wit, as disinterested as he looked in tonight's fight, if not more so -- in getting beat down by Hurd.

 

wellborn has 7kos and had hurd backed up against the ropes in every round and wellborn is a poor fighter. If a world level fighter with 26 kos a good timing can back hurd up into the ropes like wellborn did whats to say brook cant stop him. its easy to write off brook after a bad performance but remember the guy has had 40 fights and only lost to spence and ggg. hes had a bad performance doesn't everyone now and again??

love the enthusiasm but that was not vintage Kell lol. I agree Kell can beat Hurd but saying that was vintage Kell is silly. Kell was poor tonight but he showed heart and finished the job.

 

Really? Brooks eyes might be hanging out their sockets by the time Hurds done with him.

 

People are so fickle on this forum. Brook is now a bum cos he had a tougher fight than expected. Maybe his opponent raised his game? Maybe he wasn’t as **** as everyone said he was? Brook won every round give him a break. Maybe Brook fights to the level of his opponent like a lot of fighters do. He still has one of the best wins in the 147 division

I like Brook but Hurd will absolutely destroy him at 154. Brook will never take that fight either, he knows.

 

Kell was wrecked twice,no way he will be top tier at this point,not to mention he does not take care o himself

 

Brook couldn’t hurt Zerafa, doubt he can trouble Hurd although he’ll probably be up on the scorecards when he gets stopped.

 

I think that’s a fair post. What was worrying tonight for me was the ease with which Brook was caught.
It could well have been a bad performance and normal service soon resumed, but how much did the two loses take out of him?
I’m not fickle enough to write him off on one fight but it was worrying, whatever the reason was.
