I thought at the time Brook exposed GGG while ultimately getting his face broken, but it looks like he had set the way forward to box this GGG myth...

Before then GGG was fighting mediocre fighters who he had scared to death before getting in the ring...Brook showed GGG up for the limited boxer he is,and if you are willing ,able and game enough you can trade blow for blow with him....Where has GGGs scary ko power gone??Has he binned the PEDs too?....thats for another thread

In my opinion you can count on 1 hand the top fighters GGG fought and got beat by 2

In reality he should still have an unbeaten record though

Look GGG has a draw and a loss as the only blemishes on his record. His draw was seen as scandalous by the majority who saw it. The loss is without doubt debatable, where again many felt he should have won. The man is 36 years old, has been showing signs of decline for well over 2 years now, and still most people view him as the number 1 fighter at 160lbs.

He beat a formidable opponent in Jacobs, almost ended the career of a top welterweight, which could have been a massacre if Brook's corner did not intervene.
Then he has 2 of the best fights in the middleweight division in over 20 years against a pound for pound fellow fighter in which the majority thought he was hard done by in both fights.

Keep criticising GGG if you feel the need, but looking at the context of his career, every real boxing fan knows what a formidable fighter the man is.

Limited boxer ?? Seriously this 36 year old limited boxer as you put it got a draw (the vast majority thought he won ) against the pound for pound best on planet and lost a majority decision by a round 2nd time round. The ped power he didn’t test positive like canelo. Think you will find in 6 months leading up ggg has 12 urine and 6 blood test. Clearly troll If he won this 36 year old limited boxer would be in majority of people’s eyes the pfp number 1 and realistically is still top 10

Fought a welter who almost lost his career as a result.
Drew and lost in controversial decisions to an elite fighter where again, the MAJORITY of observers had him winning.
Jacobs went life and death with GGG, gave a career best performance and yet couldn't wait for the bell to end. To Golovkin it was just another fight.

Golovkin is not a limited boxer man, he has one of the best jabs in boxing and his balance and movement is immense. Just because he ships a ton of punches? So what, he can eat them for fun. It's part of his "big drama show" "Mexican style" appeal. He's an absolutely brilliant boxer.

It's ok, tdf1974 has just returned after a night out on the pop.

Exposed by a welter who he stopped within 6 rounds, of a 12 round championship fight? OK.

Fought a genuine 160 fighter life and death - the same genuine 160 fighter who didn't make weight and had a huge weight advantage but still got knocked down and beat, do you mean that one?

The same 154/160 fighter he fought who got caught doping and failed TWO tests, who's regarded was one of the top 10 P4P fighters in the world. The 154/160 fighther he was robbed by in the first fight and won the second in the majority of people's eyes, oh and also when he clearly isn't in his prime.

Is that the 154/160 fighter you mean?
