I'm really not sold on him Rob. He's not my type of fighter at all. His skills need some serious work and there wouldn't be enough space to post all his "unsweet" habits.

He has no chin tucking, he's very stiff and a stationary target, doesn't know how to draw you in to counter and his power is overrated IMHO. Oh and don't get me on all that bullsh%t smoke 'n' mirrors switch hitting he does.

He's quite relaxed in the ring and doesn't shoot his wad early which is good to see, but the kid needs some serious fine tuning before they put him in against a certified bad arse.

Another thing, I get the feeling he's already maxed out at the weight, with all that muscle he's put on. I think he might struggle at the weight and i don't think he weighs up that much either, which is a problem against these new age welters like Jones who have the frame of Hearns and put a lot of weight on after the weigh-ins.

Said he's overrated by Sky and his people since day dot. More smoke and mirrors, more style than substance in my honest opinion.

He's blown over stiffs but I think when you see him in the ring with someone who isn't bothered by his overrated power he's going to be in a world of trouble and won't react well. I can't even see him handling Selcuk Aydin.

dont know how the americans produce such huge welters (ie williams) I think kell could be out muscled against jones tbh. would be 100% behind him but i dont think his defence will hold up at world class level.

I would like to see it man I think it's what we need .It's an exciting fight .What's a loss man f--k all .How many boxers have come back from losses .There's Pacquiao for starts who Naz said he wants to see Brook in with .I hate alot of tune ups man Brooks defintley ready to move up a level .Even if you think Jones is bad for him I say a defenit top WW .He's getting all these fighters out there to easy man he stopped Jennings in the same round as Cotto .

Soo many of these fighters are fighting at the wrong weight. No one understands the concept of finding your natural weight anymore. Some guys just train as long and as hard as they can, get to the lowest weight they can get to and then fight there. That's why you see so manys fighters getting knocked off because most of them are going into the camp just trying to make the weight and nothing else.

I look at guys like Victor Ortiz and even Amir Khan and think, how the heck do they make light welter? they look like junior middleweights in there.

Its not happening in December. Jones will be fighting on the undercard in Dallas. But this fight is apparently happening next year.
