Brook headlines a huge Sky Sports bill in Sheffield on March 17 when he takes on Matthew Hatton.
And the 25-year-old Sheffield sensation (26-0 as a pro) has his eyes on some massive fights if he can come through that tough test.

A fight with British rival Khan would be a huge domestic event, and Brook is confident he'd come out on top. But he admits he's not ready yet for the rarefied atmosphere of fighting P4P superstars like Mayweather Jr.
When Khan's name was mentioned he told Boxing News:

Of course before Brook can even start to plan megafights down the road he has to overcome Hattonfirst in a domestic dust-up that has really captured the imagination of UK fight fans.

And Kell knows he'll be in deep against a man who took Mexican sensation Saul Alvarez the distance at light-middleweight.

"A fighter like Matthew doesn't think he's going to turn up and lose, does he? He really fancies his chances. I don't know if it's because his brother is Ricky Hatton, but I sense Matthew wants to prove something. he wants to make his own name and that's why he's dangerous."

I'd love to see Amir fight Kel this year. It would be massive in the uk and khan likes to often point out he will fight anyone.. Lets hope it happens.

This fight would be huge in the UK, I just think Brook needs to beat someone of merit to justify getting khan to show up in the ring. Right now Brook has done nothing to get khan interested.

I say brook team should get him a fight for a title against Senchenko or berto

I see what you are saying but I have to disagree. I think the fight should be made this year. Its always someone needs to beat this person to deserve a shot at this person. Brook is ready right now and will beat Khan. He will have to fight Brook in order to get his name out there after he gets beat by Peterson again.

I have Khan beating peterson the 2nd time, I actually think Khan will drop him multiple times in their next fight to go onto a clear UD.

At that point Brook will need to step up his level of competition, fighting matthew hatton is along way off the level khan is fighting at.

I would agree if khan had spent any of his career at 147lb but he hasn't. So for me fighting brook in his first outing at 147 would make sense, after all brook has a better resume at the weight. I do agree that brook hasn't done much and therefore would be a perfect fight for amir to cut his teeth at 147lb:hey Could be one of the most dangerous too but as a fan I want to see it sooner than later.

I agree Kell Brook is an interesting fighter but I feel like he hasn't done enough to get Khan.

But I don't think he can win versus the likes of Berto so he has to be careful as he may be limited with his opponents before he can get Khan.

I definitely would like to see that fight, so go Kell Brook!!!!!!

I've always thought Kell would beat Khan & it will be a good fight as well.

Although Khan swore he'd never work with Matchroom again after the McCloskey fight

When Brook has a title & Amir moves up to 147 then I reckon this fight gets made.

I love to watch Khan and I am a massive fan of his, however I have watched kell Brook from the start of his pro career and I think if the met in the ring this year Kell has his number. Kell will go onto win world titles and I am sure Amir wiil beat Peterson in the re-match. This will be a massive fight in if made in the UK and whoever loses it would not be career ending. Styles make fights and this one could be awesome
