That's what we're told anyway by Hearn that Brook can only get himself up for a "big fight" like Crawford and if there no sign of that forthcoming by early 2020 he will probably retire. Honestly that sounds good to me. What exactly has Brook done to deserve this big fight he's not in a mandatory position, he's had no notably recent wins and actually has only been in one big fight in his entire career. That being Golovkin fight which of course was supposed to be for Eubank Jr but for shenanigans and then Hearn didn't want to loose the opportunity to show GGG to the UK fans so he throw Brook under a bus to keep he from fighting in America. The arrogance and delusion of Brook that he deserves to be at world level is embarrassing, he needs to pack it up.
At this point, I think Brook is a nuisance to Eddie- he all but confirmed this in a recent interview on IFL.
They said he was mandatory challenger for the WBA 154 title after he beat Rabchenko. They could've pursued that if he was serious about looking for a big fight. I think we all know the big fight that Kell Brook wants, and it doesn't involve any of the champions at 154.
This is what I also said on another thread. How can you say you only want the big fights when you haven't put in the graft for years. It's mind-boggling. Everyone wants the big fights with the big money but not everyone deserves them..
Not a good look on horn then fighting a shot boxers last win who is referred to as a stripper Or am I missing something ?
He has had more marking time fights and fought more padded records than most. Was that male stripper he struggled with, a "big fight"?
Beyond a joke now with Brook, he either needs to fight someone decent or just get out entirely What a waste of talent, the guy could have been great Have a feeling BJS is going the same way unfortunately
