Kell brook ranked #1 by ring magazine

Brook is only fighting Gavin because Amir refused to fight Kell... Why is that so difficult to understand?

As for Thurman, one-time has only just come back from injury (Keith suffered a nasty injury during his March fight with RG.. If you actually followed boxing you would know this).

Why would Kell call out a fighter who was recovering from injury (and almost certainly going to be unavailable) when Team Brook called out Khan for a late May-Early June fight?

You're just butthurt because The Ring consider Kell to be the best welterweight on Earth after Floyd.

 

i don't give two hoots about about the rankings...... stop making it sounds like khan and gavin were the only fighters availble for a june........brook has only beat porter and continues to fight nobodies and you cannot deny that.... i dont blame khan for not giving brook the fight......it will be even bigger next year and also brook is forced to fight tougher opponents although he is already getting away with 2 soft fights with only half the year left

Sorry but you really are becoming too much.

You don't blame Khan for refusing to fight Brook and Kell should not be fighting Gavin... But it is okay for Khan to duck a world title fight and fight Algieri (a light-punching JWW who Pacquiao dropped six times on route to a 120-103 complete domination) for 15-20% of the money.. And Porter in America was an easy fight?

Frankie Gavin would probably beat Algieri ffs!!

The one underlying fact that you can't deny is Khan dodged Brook. Algeri will give him no world title, less money and less respect. How do you explain Algeri is the right choice?

 

When Amir doesn't get the fight with Floyd, what other fights earn more money for Khan than a Brook cight? Manny? Amir has already ducked a Pacquiao fight and Bob Arum as recently as this week labelled Khan as "Nothing in the US.. And I do mean nothing!!" Arum also talked up Kell!! Now, you and both know that Uncle Bob has previous for embellishing the truth, but he is one of the most influential promoters in America!

Once again, ill ask you, when Mayweather blanks Khan, what bigger fight is there for Amir than Kell?? And by the way, the Brook camp have played it superbly!! Once Amir goes to them, cap in hand for the fight Khan will probably get the shaft!

Regarding your comments regarding Gavin fighting Algieri and Provodnikov simply prove that you really do not understand the sport of boxing. Algieri is tough, no doubt about that (which is how he came back from looking out of it in the 1st against Ruslan to win a SD) but Chris is a light punching JWW. As for Frankie, he lost his European title (which last I checked was not British level) on a SD to Bundu, who then went the distance with Thurman!!

Many find Gavin's style of fighting horrible to watch, but he was a fantastic amateur and he is very skillful. And if you honestly believe a less skilled, light punching JWW like Algieri would dominate a boxer like Gavin, you really do not know the sport of boxing.

 

gavin vs algeiri will probably be the ****tiest fight the world as ever seen.

Think brook will always want to fight khan, he needs him to cross over to become a big star, at present he's not especially well known nor is he making big money.

In their rabid mind, Khan is fully entitled to turn down the Brook fight (which would have earned Amir far more money, a shot at a world title and if Khan had of won he would probably been Mayweather's next opponent) and fight Chris Algieri because.... Erm well because.... Erm... BECAUSE HE'S AMIR KHAN, RIGHT??

 

Gavin-Algieri would almost certainly be a horrible watch for some.

Brook wants to fight Khan because he genuinely hates Amir!! Ask anyone close to Kell, they will confirm this.. And it would make a lot of money for both lads.

It is fantastic that The UK has such talented welterweights. I just wish the number 3 ranked fighter (and his fans) would realise that he isn't too big to fight the number 1 ranked fighter!!

 

The Ring Magazine rankings are always terrible. I mean they've actually seriously got Carl 'I've fought in front of 80,000 people at Wembley' Froch at #6 on the p4p list. Utterly shocking.

Why do Brook fans never stop talking about Khan? The obsession is strong with these lot, some are beyond that charts as they search for Khans di ck pics on skype:think

Khan is clearly talented and good to watch. But some of his fans choose to ignore the obvious and like to slag Brook and his opponents at every opportunity... That's fine, no-one would have a problem with that (rather unnecessary and unseemly, but it's up to them). It is obviously because they hate the fact that "SPECIAL K IS NUMBER 1":happy

But they steadfastly ignore Khan's many ducks and choice of opponents.. And they deserve to be called out over their hypocrisy.
