I think you're meant to post a link or a quote or something.

“I regret the Spence fight,” said Brook. “It was in Sheffield, we’d sold a load of tickets and we were in a football stadium (Bramall Lane).

“But going from middleweight down to welterweight was too much and it drained me; I was a proud champion and I never duck anyone."

I remember at the time he was saying he felt good blah blah blah. Just give Spence his props.

Well yes Kell you plonker but it’s actually the Golovkin fight that was the mistake as Spence was always gonna be there.

No, dude was badly drained. Why do you think Team Spence were screaming at him "Just make weight! Just make weight!"

Kell Brook quit and lost to the better man on the night.

Lost a lot of respect for him and I'm sure a lot of Brook fans feel the same.

Just do your talking through your fists to rebuild your reputation, don't try and take away credit from the better man.

At any weight or any night, you'd have still got wrecked by Spence.

Spence had to work hard to get to 147 as well. Why is it that only Brook gets sympathy for it.

Amen! He really had no business moving 13 pounds north for a fight he was meant to be KO in.

Now he's trying to take credit away from Spence by saying he was drained when he was previously saying he felt great..

Brook is a two time quitter, and making excuses isn't helping his reputation.

I don't see saying you are drained as taking away any credit. It's simply a matter of fact that dropping weight like that can have a detrimental effect. It affected Jones when he moved back down to 175 from HW. Same w/ Chris Byrd and ODLH.

He should keep his mouth shut because he is coming across as a fraud with these type of comments.

Spence also had to drain himself down.

Losing weight didn't make him bow down and beg for mercy. His heart did.

Tbf to brook I think its a fair excuse tbh. It does get harder to make the weight as you age. That's why its so important to stop waisting your career like kell did in his prime years. Badly mismanaged from start to finish for me. How much of that is kells fault...I don't know. But he should have been kicked on years before he did/was.

I never heard a word from Brook about weight, when he was campaigning at 147 whilst he enjoyed beating the likes of Frankie Gavin, Jo Jo Dan and Kevin Bizier and begging Kahn to fight him at the same weight

We're meant to believe he'd be the super unbeaten special k if he got to campaign at 154 if he didn't have to drain himself?

He's taking us all for mugs.
