Sense of a leader....FFS. Did he START that program? Was he the absolute first? Good grief.. That was a part of his PR image fix.

Who said it bothers me? I'm simply calling out you BS Isal. You simply cannot be genuine. I don't get that. It's as if you have to convince yourself of your BS a well. you have to spin everything you can.

 

Just ridiculous the spin some will go. Canelo gets caught with a couple failed tests, denies anything, gets crucified by the press, boxers, and fans. Is shamed in to the VADA 365 program. But that's being a "Leader" to some. FFS...

 

It serves two points.

1. It drives the fanboys and haters crazy that something positive can come out of a negative situation.
2. I give credit where credit is due and I feel what Canelo deserves big props for going above and beyond to prove he was clean. I wish more fighters did that.

 

Who cares what drives fans crazy. If that's a point you feel you have to make, then, as I've said before. You need to grow up.

We'll never know if Canelo would signup for such a thing BEFORE his failed tests. But since he had never shown any inclination prior, I have my doubts.

And as stated, he was getting killed my the media, so he really had no choice BUT to go above and beyond. So don't act like he's being a leader of anything. That's just embarrassing to say after all that's occurred.

But here's the thing, that's actually fine. A lot of fighters aren't in the 365. But at least work w/ VADA.

 

Canelo used a bad situation and made something great out of it. Why does it get you mad? lol

He was very likely a victim of Mexico's food problem. The lab director said the values were consistent with tainted meat. The HFT showed us he was not using banned substances.

He could have done what Tyson Fury, Luis Ortiz, Alexander Povetkin, Vitali Klitschko, Lucia Bute all did, NOTHING. Instead he goes and take a Hair ****ing follicle test, and then enrolls in VADA's most stringiest testing program, a year round random testing program. I think that is GREAT!!! As the face of boxing he used a bad situation and has now set the BAR high and where it should be, year round testing. To me that is a leader. I also think GGG following in Canelo's steps makes him a leader too, as these two will duke it out in Sept. and both are going to be tested year round and not just when they are scheduled for a fight like both had been doing.

 

Again with the mad crap... Now all you are doing trying antagonize, just like a spoiled child Isal. You can act like a toddler to someone else.
