Incidently, Britain has never had a master fighter at 154 We've had our share of 160s and 168s over the years but no one at 154 Brook should make that his terrain and become Britains Greatest at 154
He was in negotiations to fight vargas...then ended up fighting golovkin... if the spence fight had to happen but they ducked to face golovkin how could they of been in negotiations with vargas lol. The ibf call a mando once a year, spence fought his final eliminator and got hi number 1 rank, he thn must wait until the date the IBF set for the mando to be called. Brook never had to fight him, now he does. They will call it on december 26th and then they have 30 day to agree a deal or purse bids and must fight within 90 days. It's not rocket science jesus
Completely different, we're talking about canelo ducking the number 1 fighter and the biggest payday available to him. Brook would be 'ducking' a nobody in spence (nobody knows him outside of boxing fans) and it would be a mall payday compared to a khan fight.... & he said a few days ago will fight spence next no problem lol...
That spin is not gonna work. The fact is that Brook is ducking Spence and it's plain as daylight. Even now he's looking to bypass the Spence fight with a unification fight. That supersedes a mandatory. To prevent a possible second loss in a row on his record, there is a chance that he might do a Canelo and vacate. A loss against Spence is a lot worse than a loss against GGG because Spence is in his house which is the welter weight division. I don't have a pick in the fight because they are both excellent fighters. It's a toss up for me but evidently Brook is a little gun shy with Erroll Spence.
There's no evidence that brook is ducking Spence.. there are bigger fights at welter for Brook. Spence still needs to fight ponomorav as far as I'm concerned
You're exactly the level of fan (straight gullible, ignorant to the core) brook was targeting. see, he even pulled off his first duck move. of course there was a fight to duck, Spence after his last victim was made brook mandatory , no it wasn't enforced yet, Brook made sure to have the duck all sealed and signed before it was too late and even the gullible caught on to his actions. What's laughable is some of you claim because brook fought ggg there's no way he wouldn't look forward to facing Spence . perspective fella, Losing to GGG "moving up" is much less career damaking than losing to the unproven nobody Spence in his own division. Now brook is trying to secure a pac, khan or a top 154 fight instead of facing his mandatory , I bet that's not happening either. he strictly wants khan for personal reasons, wants pac for the "challenge" and doesn't want Spence as much as either because he's "not proven", "not known" and brings nothing to the table ? Brook accepting that fat L from GGG is going to haunt him forever, never will his eye be durable again , he had a shot vs Spence pre ggg but now I see zero chance.. Hell, khan has a much greater shot v brook than brook does v Spence. this is me assuming Spence has a chin that somewhat resembles his talents. minus chin, all bets are off with chin no limits
Brook is ducking Spence, I know it and you know it. I questioned the GGG fight because Spence was in line after he beat Bundu but Brook took the GGG fight and I was like I know he didn't just jump two weight classes to avoid Spence. I had to give him the benefit of the doubt because it was a shot (although an extra long one ) at putting himself above the rest and a nice buck to boot. It was a win win situation for him because he couldn't get nothing but praise (win or lose) for stepping to GGG. However, I expected him to come back after that fight and deal with the Spence situation because that's what champions do. No such luck, he's looking all around Spence for another opponent, talking about Pac or the winner of Thurman and Danny because he does have a right to unify rather than face his mandatory. Then he is saying he wants to fight Khan and expects that fight to supersede the Spence challenge. He is looking for a way out and all the evidence points to that. My last point is this, even though Danny, Pac , and Thurman are all champions, he has a better shot at beating them than he does at beating Spence.
That's a cliché question and only asked when a real question is unavailable. As a matter of fact, you ask the same question of Brook. Here's what I do know, Spence has beaten enough of the right people to warrant a mandatory shot at Brook's title. The real question is will he get it.
Yeah money wise if any of those top guys like Manny,Khan ect came calling then it's a no brainer, now if Brook were to fight a Rod Salka that would be different, all about money for Brook now after lost time.
