Jackiewicz ain't half bad. He'll give Brook a good fight. Very defensive-minded sometimes, decent counterpuncher, hard to hit clean. I'd be surprised if Brook wins decisively.

He's lost 10 fights. Stop lying this guy is crap.

Typical keel brook fodder. And he wonders why khan looks down his nose at him

Typical boxrec fan, u better shut up and listen to people who actually saw Jackiewicz fight several times. I can tell you that Jackiewicz didnt take boxing seriously at the beginning of his career hence he has that big number of losses. It has changed and he has defeated some good fighters such as Bonsu, Rodriguez or Zaveck, last two were very close, but still it shows you that the guys is no journeyman. It will be by far Brook's toughest fight to date.

I think he'll eventually prevail but moaning about him fighting jackiewicz just shows how little you know.

good learning fight for brook, he will be tested but when it comes down to it i think he will be too cute for this guy.
he showed some really classy moves with n'dou, one round where i saw him step in with a right hand lead then turn it into a right upper cutafter he landed. that for me was class and a notchup in my estimations of where brook can go.

by the way whoevers bashing on about the polish crack pack it in this is a boxing website not a polak hate forum.

i think we got enough shite going on with riots etc without silly BS like that as well.

I don't know what people are complaining about with this fight, but Jackiewicz isn't half bad. He's at least in Kell's top3 opponents, and I won't be surprised one bit if he gives 'special' Kell a hard fight...

Good fight for Brook. Jackiewicz has never been stopped and has held his own against solid competition including the current IBF champ, so Brook should get some good, tough rounds. Plus it's a WBA title elminator.

Kell has has enough practice for some decent fights! Why not Mosley, Cotto etc? He will always fight loosers and call Khan out in the process! Ow thats a guy with 27 fights and two wolrd titles and has fought the best in his division unlike this bum! Im fed up with Ow kell is announcing his next fight! Ow its another nobody! And he want a title shot hahahaha needs to get in the ring with the elite or past prime elite not journey men.

Jackiewicz is right now sparing with Zaveck in Germany..both getting ready for their next fights. I heard that the one who win this fight Brook - Jackiewicz will have a chance to fight Ukrainian fighter Shackenko (sp?).

Brook has been stagnating for a while, but I have faith that his new promoters will sort that out.

He needs to shut up calling out Khan, though. Khan isn't going to be fighting people unless they have a belt or they're a mandatory, and Brook is a way off either.

Jackiewicz isn't a bad step up for Kell he has some decent wins on his record. He is a former European Champion, and he won his title off of a prime Jackson Osei Bonsu who at the time was a legit top 10 Welterweight, he subsequently beat Jan Zaveck and although it was contentious Delvin Rodriguez.

He then lost a MD to Jan Zaveck in their rematch. He may not be a top 10 Welterweight (despite what Ring Magazine says) but he is an experienced solid fringe contender and he represents one of the stiffest tests of Kell Brook's career so far. You guys calling this **** need to realise that you cannot just stick fighters into world title fights, Kell is staying active taking on fringe contenders and provided he wins and looks good I would expect him to step up after this. You have to give fighters a chance to grow and prove themselves before you stick them in huge fights otherwise they are under prepared and can end up doing themselves a disservice.

Yep - agreed. I'm a fan of Brook but it's about time we see him in with some big names and decent tests that are going to progress his career. This fight isn't far removed from his current level of opposition.

It's a step up for Brook considering the best name on his resume is Lovemore N dou. But I just don't like how this kid is calling out pacquiao, khan etc but then facing people like Jackiewicz :patsch

Kell Brook is on his way up, after this fight we should see him fight bigger names.
