Kell Brook tells Hearn "I wont vacate my belt bring me Spence"

I've been pleasantly surprised by Hearn over the last year, I thought he was going to be another fraud of a promoter.

 

Both are BIG guys for 147
I love this fight....Spence has a razor thin edge IMO

 

Wherw are all the Brook haters talking a out he will duck spence blah blah blah.

If Brook/Spence gets officially signed and dated im not sure how any boxing fan can not respect Brook. Im an american and hes one brit that has already earned my respect. He stepped in against GGG and Porter. I think thats worth something no matter how haters try to spin it. REspect that man.

 

Let's see what spence is made of. 25% and in the uk...will his team take it. Great fight. I think Brook will fight anyone at 147 or 154 so fair play to him.

 

im not even a brook hater or trying to hate on him....but lets put something in perspective for a minute

from what i hear brook hadnt seen a million dollar payday in his career(can this be confirmed?)....so he basically made 5 mil base with some ppv upside for fighting golovkin....and they stopped the fight at the first sign of real trouble? thats not a huge risk IMO....

 

Haymon isnt going to send Spence over to the UK for a very very tough fight at 25% purse, he will stall negotiation and hope Brook vacates the title and fight someone else.

 

Oh hell yeah! Props to Brook. He's really starting to win me over. Great ****ing fight!

no it was a good stoppage as Brook was gone and let's say he survived the round it would only have been over in the next round anyway,it was a shame that Brook got his orbital smashed as he took GGGs bombs as well as most have,that said Shock there was some hypocrisy in this fight with Brook,doesn't matter that it was put together last minute,the fact remains that GGG called Canelo for fighting Khan and did the same thing with Brook when the money was right.

 

What he did in moving up 2 weight classes against the supposedly most feared guy in boxing all the while still fighting after getting his orbital bone broken during the fight takes more balls than what I've seen for a very long time. I put it well above Mannys catch weight, weight drain bull**** easily. I disagree with your first sign of trouble opinion. He got stunned in the first round. His corner rightfully stopped it to save their fighter from permanent damage. As far as paydays, GGG just got his first couple of million dollar paydays himself. Brook did what GGG refuses to do in challenging himself. Deserves a lot of credit in today's boxing world where guys like GGG want paydays and feel entitled too although they don't garner them or have earned them.

I don't expect this to happen but if Brook goes from GGG to Spence, ... he can't be questioned. The two toughest fights from 147-160? C'mon.

 

im not saying you are wrong....i just disagree....maybe i need to watch the fight again...i only watched it live.....i just see it differently....but i respect your opinion

 

Good for Brook because that's what he needs to do. If he wins then he really puts himself in an enviable positon. Also good for Spence because it gives the shot he deserves and I'm sure he will be ready. However I did check all the interviews of Kell Brook over at ifilm and I heard no such statement by Brook. I am not saying that Kell didn't make the statement, just that I can't find it. Maybe you should post it here.
