Kell Brook has a "paper" belt, but the truth is he isn't a top-five welterweight yet. More like lower top 10.

That IBF strap he barely won was held by a series of very ordinary fighters - and Brook might be another one. (The lineage goes all the way back to the Randall Bailey-Mike Jones vacant title fight.)

I don't even know if Brook beats someone like Diego Chaves.

Hope Jo Jo pulls the win... he deserves it! He's been training hard and working hard for this fight.

Brook would outbox Chaves to an easy decision.

I love how everybody still ****riding Chaves just because he looked good for a few rounds against One Time. They need to get over that ****. He's a dirty limited fighter.

Why, because he looked so great against Shawn Porter?

I wouldn’t pick Kell Brook over any of these guys right now: Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquaio, Keith Thurman, Tim Bradley, Robert Guerrero, Diego Chaves, Juan Manuel Marquez … hell, he might not even win a rematch with the ordinary Shawn Porter. (Not that anyone would want to watch that boring matchup again.) I don’t even know if Kell Brook beats Sadam Ali.

Edging Shawn Porter in a mind-numbingly dull fight … after Porter won the title from Devon Alexander in a mind-numbingly dull fight … after Alexander decisioned Bailey in a mind-numbingly dull fight doesn’t get anyone excited.

Show the Kell Brook-Shawn Porter, Shawn Porter-Devon Alexander, Devon Alexander-Randall Bailey series to someone and they’ll never want to watch boxing again.

I wanted to be impressed by Kell Brook – because guys like Porter and Alexander were so awful. But Brook didn’t look impressive to me at all.

Maybe he’ll get better. But he isn’t there yet.

Yeah exactly he called him out but now since Thurman said Ill come to UK to fight Kell, Hearn and Kell have changed their tune and are saying THurman isn't worth the risk. I hope Jo Jo Dan puts Kell out for good but he's just so bad it probably won't happen, another Saldivia, robbles type of fighter, typical Kell Brook opponent.

Brook would make Chaves look like the C-level fighter that he is.

Anyone who thinks otherwise should follow another sport, because boxing isn't for them.

all as to bee taken into perspective

just by your statements your shi tting all over khans title defences and his self belief as a fighter with the easy smaller low out put no power opponents he is choosing to face and remember he picks who he fights so or he reckons :rofl

I'd love to see Brook vs Khan. Khan should take this fight, the IBF title on the line and he further enforces a big payday to occur rather than purely begging for it.

I just want to see him knock out Khan. No one does the chicken dance like Amir.
