Tell me why brook was desperate to get the khan fight for years then? Why is eddie hearn desperate for that fight? Canelo is actually a bigger name than golovkin.

 

Think there was something like 3 pts in it. Now compare that to khan who completely shut him out. Khan has problems with certain styles but does brook have one of them. Personally think his styles causes anyone problems. However i dont see him walking khan down. He mostly boxes off the back foot and pushes with his punches. Not exactly the blueprint to beat amir.

I d like to think your trolling. Although i get the feeling your not. For the record i m not a khan fan. Massive flaws to his game..brook the far better technical fighter. Doesnt mean hes a certainty to win the fight tho. It doesnt always work like that. Styles come into play. People seem to be alluding to kells strengths without really taking khans into account.

And talking up brooks opponents while downplaying khans. Brooks best win drew with diaz. The same guy khan gets ridiculed for struggling with. It took brook about 6 rounds to get frankie gavin out of there. And yet hes gonna stop khan in 2

Go and watch the porter v brook fight. Kell certainly pushes with his punches there...hes always done it. Hes never been a bit hitter. He hurts his opponents...by the element of surprise far more than he does his power.

Who cares who needs who. I still think brook needs khan as much as the other way round. Regardless if they fight they both probably make more money together than against anyone else.

What i m saying tho is for all the talks of brooks strengths and brook stopping him in three rounds. khans actually matches up well against pure boxer types. Mallinaggi and judah were both pretty much whitewashed. Jadah had just beat that mattheuse the year before. Mallinaggi is usually at least semi competetive with most. Alexander didnt even get started.

Again i d favour brook if the fight does get made but can definetely make a case for brook struggling to get going in the fight.

Khan is faster than kell. Paulie, judah and alexander actually match up well with brook.

Judahs got a longer reach. Alexander and mallinagi the same reach as brook. Heights an inch or inch and a half either way.

I dont actually have kell down as the biggest or strongest welterweight out there. I think its a bit of a myth tbh. Hes not lacking but hes not this super strong man either.

Again to me kell needs to prove himself more before people can claim he d take khan out easily.

Its allright looking at him technically and saying hes all wrong for khan. But at the same time against who exactly has he proven it against at that level. Porter to an extent and thats about it. But he pretty much fought porter mainly on the back foot pot shotting using footwork. Not something we ve seen that causes khan the well documented problems. Porter actually drew with the guy khan beat diaz. Their fighting at about the same level atm.

That fight will be close. I think it goes 12. Couple of points either way...most probably brooks favour. But cant see a 3 round blow out.

 

Amir Khan is the biggest hype job in British boxing history.

His title run at 140lbs was laughable and apart from Maidana he lost everytime he stepped up.

His career has been perfectly planned from the beginning and he's still been dropped and sparked.

Its getting a bit stupid now. I dont even like khan. Hes completely flawed to the extent no coach can really improve him due to the fact his ring iq is so low at the top level.

I m aware that khan is flawed but there best wins etc show their around the same level. Technically brook is way better but technique doesnt always win you the fight. Khan has things that can cause brook problems and vice versa. But brooks strengths dont really fall into the category of the guys that give khan major problems.

Whereas i think brook can also suffer from being pushed back just like khan. Porter done it. Golovkin done it and carson jones done it. Theres one name on brooks list porter. Brook beat him in a pretty razor tight decision. Porter struggled with alexander and drew with diaz. Both guys khan beat. Khans actually still fighting around the same level as brook. Thats just a fact. Khan has the better resume. Again just another fact. We cant kid ourselves on because we dont like khan.

It ll be a close fight. People avoid brook like almost all ingle fighters are avoided because their very tricky to deal with but would be surprised if brook takes him out early bearing in mind it took him 6 to get gavin out of there.

I hope the fight does get made cause its a case of fans winning the fight for brook before a punch has been thrown. It was khan would beat brook. To brook would give him problems. To brook would beat him. To brook beats him easy to brook knocks him out in 2. All because he just beat the guy that drew with the guy khan beat. I bet when the fights made it starts going back out again to it could be close. The bookies will have it close.

Because brook isnt all that proven himself.
