No one knows what would happen if any of them fought, so it's pointless assuming. Kell Brook admitted he needed to get experts in to help with his stamina and nutrition, and he's probably not ready in himself to fight Bradley. Seriously, if you had a troublesome fight like the last one against Carson, would you really want to jump into a world title fight and risking a loss. He's only 25/26 FFS, he's still young. And to say Kell Brook is not tough, seems kind of ******ed. The guy got his nose broke in a fight and carried on to win the fight against a guy who is tough.

It's getting redicilous now from Brook and Hearn.
How many 'final eliminators' do they want? They've got their shot now vs a top tier guy and they would rather face this Saldivia bum for a position which means **** all in reality anyway.

Ajose Olesegun was WBC mandatory for how long? Doesn't mean your getting a shot these days.

Number one spot with the IBF why? When he's got one on offer with the WBO.

Being mandatory doesn't mean **** all anyway.

:nono no. What he's just done is a disgrace plain and simple.

He's 26 and had 30 fights or whatever. The guys looking for bums and the path of least resistance. Can't do that and claim you want to be the best.
He's just turned down what is a dream fight to many in his position. All so he can beat some more bums, get a trinket belt then defend that vs some more bums. What's he gunna do if Devon beats Bailey in devastating fashion? Say 'oh we are gunna go for the WBA route instead'.

We've been waiting years for this guys career to get interesting. And it's still not happening.

If he fought well and lost his stock could still rise. Fighters who are too scared to try, because they are too scared to lose, are not good for boxing.

I don't class that as a 'duck' at all. He isn't ready, it's that simple. They know he isn't ready, so why put him in with a very solid world level boxer who would IMO beat him pretty easily at this point.

Brook either needs more experience with tough, pressure boxers who will be around for the 12 rounds, or he needs to take an easier option to 'world level' to gain that experience. Then think about facing top boxers like Bradley. They have chosen the latter it seems. He will either come unstuck before he reaches that level, or he will grow with experience.

After what happened to Mike Jones, and how he looked in the Carson bout, I don't blame them one bit.

kell isnt overrated by anyone. hes at his level right now. any higher and he will lose more often than not. what he has to do is to skill-up through careful matchmaking and the appropriate preparation.

losing the 0 might allow him to concentrate on the basics a bit more rather than having to deal with all the bull**** that goes with being an undefeated fighter.

Taking on Bradley and losing is better than not fighting Bradley at all. Win or lose he will get massive exposure. Protecting their "0" is consuming fighters these days. Brook should be brave, he would be respected more for it. Losing means nothing. After losing twice Froch is now ranked no.2 in the world.
