Its a good fight if it happens, but for Brook not Gomez. Its a good name for his CV and Kell will get him out of there within 6. Cant see Gomez getting a world title.

yea this is a fight for kell to break into the top 10 welterweights. Alfonso is a good gatekeeper to fight before he moves onto the elites like berto and mosley. I think he should fight alfonso - ortiz - then world title shot.
When was it confirmed Berto was elite , he looked anything but against Collazo in his gift decision win ..................... Warren seriously needs to get a plan together for Brook to get him relevant because at the moment he's nobody , and his skill set suggests he should be somebody . I like the idea of him going after Zavek , he'd beat Zavek IMO but it wouldnt be a blow out , and we still havent seen what Kell does against somebody who can take his power , he's very untested and at the moment and has question marks all over him , but its time to see what he's got at world level , and as a young pro IMHO he's too inactive

Would be good Kell should prove he's a level above but Gomez would be the best guy he's fought and could upset him.
I wouldn't be so quick to discount Gomez's chances in this fight. Brook has basically fought regional level competition thus far, Gomez is fringe world class. He has a good chin, is better technically than Brook, and throws a lot of punches. Brook hasn't been in there with anyone thus far that's sent a lot of heat his way, and he'll get that with Gomez. It'd be a good fight regardless, but I'd pick Gomez to win it.
