Kell Brook is a few month shy of being a Professional boxer for 10 years.

He could well set a record for an unbeaten pro to go 10 years without actually fighting for a World title and more shockingly never coming close to facing a Top 10 boxer(legit not alphabet top 10) in his weight class.

No mate, Witter had fought at world level in about his 15th fight when he challenged Zab Judah for the IBF title.
Witter lost the fight, but he was tested early and was able to regroup and build on the experience whilst he was still young. Witter was ahead of Kell at this stage of his career because he had more experience.
The thing is Kell's not been tested at world level yet and he's already got injuries, weight issues and he's not getting any younger.
There's also a big risk he might not get motivated for this type of opponent.

Unfortunately for Kell the only way he gets his shot is if Hearn puts him in the Lion's den in USA as an underdog with the cards stacked against him. Its worth the risk as he timespan is fading.

Well after living the life of Reilly for a decade he wouldn't exactly be in a position to cry foul over such a scenario, would he?

Witter of 2002 was excellent but his promoter didn't want to upset the applecart with his Manchester ticket-seller.
The Ingles haven't managed Brook for 9 years.

Especially since he has benefitted from the opposite of said scenario for almost his entire career.

Ward gets **** for being similair but at least he has fought and beat genuine world class fighters

...which is why, for all the flack he gets, Ward is a champion and the man of his division while Brook is staring down a canyon of nearly-manhood.

Brook is a champion, champion of warm ups and final eliminators!

It's going to be a bit of a shock after all this time and then loses! then where does he go? back to domestic / european? or is that when the Khan fight will happen and then Khan will hand him a lesson and then what?

Interesting watching careers unfold in different ways....definately need to try and get rid of the protecting of the 0 it's only going to ruin more careers.

With all the crap in Brooks career and his age ect, if he get's his world title shot and looses he will never be World Champion, WW is stacked and none of the champions want to fight him no money for them to do so, they will fight him as a mando when they have but doubt anyone would take him as a voluntary defense. Brook will therefore only get 1 chance to win a world title IMO, were's if he stepped up years ago he could have come again if he lost but at this stage if he looses that's it for his title aspirations.

Kells business plan all along has been to stay at home facing the worst competition he can get away with, protecting that 0 hoping to force a big domestic payday from Khan. He has based his whole career on getting that fight. Injured twice in training for Alexander? Please.

Khan would beat the **** out of Brook

The reason why Brook has not fought a single top fighter in 10 years is because everyone around him knows that when he does, he will lose and lose badly. I think Hearn is just waiting to cash out on him with the Khan fight if he can.
