If he wants to fight for Khan's belt then tell him to come down to 140, or he can **** off.

You asked a question, a bunch of UK posters have come on here telling you that Brook is only known amongst hardcore fans and not to the wider public or casual fans. And then you start arguing? How would you know well known he is over here? He's not. Get over it.

 

Brook doesn't have awesome power. It's over-rated and he's had bull**** stoppages. And he's been fighting soft competition. Easy to look like you've got power against Afrobums and low-domestic level contenders, and even then you can see it's over-rated. Brook at 147 doesn't even hit as hard as Maidana at 140.

 

Of course we know who Kell Brook is. You don't get it. We do because we're all huge boxing fans, that's why we're on these boards. But the general public and casual fans don't know who Brook is, so it won't sell at the level of some other fights. And it's tougher to sell to the public with Brook not even having stepped up to European level. Maybe if he becomes a champion that'll happen, but the chances of that happening anytime soon are slim. Even Zaveck would beat him at this time for me.

Brook is a unknown. He's known among harder Boxing Fans, rather than Casual fans.

It shouldn't happen, unless Brook wants to come down to 140 and will accept little money, seeing how he doesn't deserve the shot at all.

Brook is is being brought along at Mick Hennessey's speed. He wasn't even due to have his fight televised live on Saturday until the Chisora and Gavin fights were called off.

 

What the **** are you talking about now? Every UK poster in this thread will know who he is, the 'Who the **** is Brook' comments aren't literal 'I don't know who he is' posts [Jesus Christ, can't believe you took that literally]. They are 'Brook is unknown to the wider public, he doesn't deserve a fight with Khan and it won't sell' type comments. Do you think every casual fan in America knows who Mike Jones is?
