Yes I have read it. It's debatable whether he'd even beat Jones at this point. It's still a big step up even if Jones struggled with Soto Karass. Brook hasn't even been in with anybody like Karass yet. He's fought a bunch of stiffs apart from Matt Jennings and even then he never showed he could close the fight out seeing as it was stopped on a cut. I highly doubt Brook will be fighting Jones in the US.

I didn't say you should support or be Brook fan. I said you and the rest of the uk people should know who Brook is cause he is from the uk and was born in sheffield in which i believe is a popular city in the uk.

Mike Jones will be Kell biggest test to date that's for sure. Too me Jones was way way way too nervous and too over excited by fighting on the undercard of Pacquiao vs Margarito. He wasn't relax in which it almost cost him in the Soto Karass fight.

Listen. HARDCORE BOXING FANS. DO. KNOW. WHO. BROOK. IS. But it is hard to sell to the general public and the casual fan who will only buy the occasional PPV or tune-in to the occasional fight. Boxing is still very much a niché sport over here unfortunately.

I'm sure in the uk it will sell and if Khan is very popular in the uk then his fight vs Brook shouldn't be a problem of selling correct? Again i've said Kell is not known in the US and i know casual boxing fans don't know who he is. But again Khan vs Brook in the uk would sell if Khan is very popular over there and i think Brook can sell in the uk. It's hard to believe not even the uk casual people knows who he is.

Your wrong, Brook doesn't sell **** all over here. Khan can sell well but he'd sell against whoever they put him in with really.

Brook is not ready for khan, he's barely above domestic level at present. Khan would beat him comfortably, probably in under 5 rounds. I have serious doubts he will ever get to the level required to beat khan but he definitely isn't ready yet.

Then it shouldn't be a problem with ticket sells with Khan vs Brook then in the uk.

It wouldn't be, but it won't happen, warren for a start won't put him in with Khan and Khan has bigger fish to fry than Brook. If brook fights and beats Jones then the fight could be looked into a little but at present it won't happen and khan would demolish him if it did.

Not every fighter who fights in the UK is well known here, in fact few are. Carl Froch is barely known, and Ricky Burns is about as famous as my milkman.

The only chance this would have of selling would be if people misread and thought Kelly Brook was fighting Amir.

Why would he take a fight that wouldn't sell in the US when that's where he's trying to make a name for himself? Why would he take a fight that wouldn't be on HBO? Why would he take a fight that would only generate money in the UK, instead of both the UK & US?

Exactly Khans got a good thing going for him as he gets to keep all the promotional rights to the UK for himself meaning he gets paid twice.
