Brook has been heralded as the best thing since slice bread for years but he has taken a long time to reach a decent domestic level fight. He looked good again beating an inferior fighter. When will we see Brook fighting an opponent who won't let him dictate the pace and who puts him on the back foot bullying him. Khan fights at a far higher tempo than Brook. How will Kell like that? I haven't seen Brook tested enough to know the answer.
Its irrelevant anyway the Brook-Khan fight won't happen, Lamont will end all arguments and finish Khan. :happy WAR PETERSON
Fight would be fought on the outside as that's where both like to stay. Kell Brook frustrates Khan because I think he controls distance quite well and is very relaxed defensively. Boxing at range, then when the opponent launches an attack he moves his head and jumps back out of range. However, Hatton is a predictable fighter and Khan has been in with much better fighters. Khan's hand speed is far superior and would be the difference in this fight.
Tell me what makes you think Brook has an 'Ingle style'. Apart from a bit of switching hitting i don't see many 'Ingle traits' at all. He's pretty much as orthodox as you can get. It's like how people were comparing him to Naseem Hamed for years when he fights NOTHING like Hamed.
That was really noticeable last night, I think I unfairly called him a Ingle style fighter, when in truth he has the bare traits and that's it, over time he has become more orthodox.
Khan would outclass him. Kell's best win is against Matthew Hatton. Let's not get carried away here people...
