I agree that it depends on the weight. Don't get me wrong I would love for Brook to beat him but I am thinking more at 152 its a 50/50 fight anything below and Benn is a favorite.
I'd love to say Brook but Benn would be getting him at the right time now. Hence why Hearn is pushing for it - he's not stupid. Boxing is a young man's game and Benn is the hungry lion on the up whilst Kell has slipped and is on his way out. People shouldn't get carried away with the Khan win.... yes he did look good the other week but he looked good against an Amir Khan who wasn't just shot to pieces but blown to pieces.
brook should tell Eddie the last ww you had you had him move up two weight divisions to face the man now you wont move this new young ww up one division to face me ageing out lofl kell should troll eddie like khan did for years
I've no problem with Conor Benn. Looks to me like a game, exciting young fighter and I wish him all the best. However, you have to laugh at Hearn once again. After saying he wasn't going to bother watching Khan v Brook because both were shot, he's now trying to match one of his best prosoects with the winner of said fight. Several posters on here said it and they were damn right. He's a gas man I have to say.
I hope Brook just calls it a day now and goes out on a high. He's shot to pieces and should thank his lucky stars he got a PPV gig against an even more shot inactive fighter in Khan. For perspective, Benn would have finished Khan in the first round. Of course, Hearn wants to get Benn that major name on his CV and it would sell big so he'll probably take the money. Can see Brook getting stopped within 4 rounds if it was at 147.
Yeah thing is Khan was so shot to bits hes made a shot Brook look decent to the casual viewer so in their eyes its pretty much Benn v Brook who beat Porter
I hear the UK Angling Community subscribing to Sky are going head to head with DAZN UK PPV in huge numbers with Fish O'Mania scheduled to start at the same time as this card - even the Ducks will be watching.
Logically id say Benn if at WW but at LMW or even a catchweight id back Brook. TBH id probably back Brook at WW as well, Brook isnt as good as he once was but bear in mind his only two loses at WW were to Spence and Crawford. Yes he has years on the clock so I would want to see him in with a real world beating prospect but im yet to see anything from Benn to say he is one. I think as long as it happens this year Brook may have enough experience and ability left to beat Benn.
Brook KO. I'm surprised how many people have gone for Benn. It's too big a test for him, I still think he needs a couple more before going up against Brook (despite him being faded).
