Ingles fighters are flawed, they are one paced and don't like to get rushed and like to control tempo. They would never put Kell in with someone like Alexander just yet.
I'll hold my judgement until his oppponent is announced. A lot of you are jumping the gun on this one. However, If he does fight another euro-level fighter it'd be extremely dissappointing.
But some fighter's are less effective when the tempo is set higher due to their boxing style and mindset.
Yeah ur right though pal ingle fighters do like to spoil and dont like it when there opponents put them under pressure for the full three minutes of each round even the great naseem showed a few glimpses of weaknesses when he was boxing when he was put under real pressure it was just his amazing reflexes and freakish dig which got him out of trouble alot of the time, thing is none of the winconbank fighters in the gym including Brook are anywhere as gifted as Naz in any department and thats why ultimatley i see Brook winning a world title for a short reign like witter but not having any legacy and id fancy Khan to beat him if they were to get it on to be honest.
I don't think Brook is a typical Ingle style fighter anyway. He hasn't got that weird mish mash of confused footwork and odd punching forum and you know pretty much what you're going to get as far as consistency. If anything he could improve by upping his own tempo at the right times.
Alexander has no title. Its far too much risk with a relatively low reward. He's very close to getting a very winnable title, no need to screw that up. It would be worth it in Sheffield but not in the USA (as the opponent/history of Alexander getting soft decisions).
I agree. He's as technically orthodox/correct as I've seen for a long time from the Ingles. Aside from being a bit ponderous at times and leaning back with his chin in the air I think he's a solid allrounder.
