Does anybody know is Brook vs Chaves has been rescheduled at all? Or how long Kell's rib injury will keep him out of action?

Personally, I believe Brook should be taking on sterner tests than the likes of Chaves.

Exactly what I was thinking when I found that out. Bizier is a step down from Chaves, if anything.

IBF are relentless on enforcing mandatory defences.

Bizier is a step down from Dan and Gavin. Terrible fight that people will have 0 interest in. Not sure what's going on with Kells career. He's been a bit what I call 'hatton' stewing along against b and c level fighters before turning it on against an A level fighter. Hatton at least went on to compete with other champs like Urango, Collazo etc

Kell just seems to have reverted back to fighting lower tier fights that he has already proved he's better than. Get Bradley in the ring - been in too many hard fights and would be a quality win one i'm sure kell could get.

Plenty of decent fights out there he could try and make a statement and take Algeri out - Khan was derided cause he struggled against Chris.

Lamont Cheaterson would be another winnable fight against a decent opponent but they seem to be waiting forever for the Khan fight. .

IBF can be brilliant from a fan perspective as they can force good fights, however they do make some absolute shockers, Brook smashed Dan and this guy lost to Dan, really what is the point of this fight? Cant blame Brook or anyone for this but its frustrating that after 3 defences he has only fought Gavin, Dan and Bizier, which is absolutely terrible.

kell's really messed up big time!

couldve had a nice run of big fights in the u.s but instead decided to take easy defences at home.

    such a dissapointment

It is fairly simple...get this fight out the way then have a stadium fight in the Summer - hopefully Khan.

I'm not the biggest Kell or Matchroom fan but this makes perfect sense. If they fight anyone else, they lose the belt. If they ask for an exception, they will be mandated to fight Bizier in the Summer and lose the big fight.

  12. A Kell vs Khan fight would be hugely underwhelming at this stage given the recent poor opponents for both.

I think everyone understands that but they are just frustrated that Brook has fought absolutely nobody since winning the title.

Problem is he's already fought Dan - why did he then fight Gavin. Surely he could have got someone better even if they were a slightly faded veteran. The Gavin fight served 0 purpose. Cant imagine he got paid for it well, nothing for exposure either.

At this rate he's just going to end up fighting B level mandatory's times ticking he's had loads of fights but 1 good win. Makes Hatton's record look like De Le Hoya's
