HUGE.......monstrous even, step up in LOC for Spence.

Peterson is holding the WBA title, and woulda been a far better way for Spence to get his first title shot.

Brook has shown vs Bizier and Porter and even GGG that power shots only shift him into another gear.

Most objective fans would look at the GGG fight and thought if that were Jermall Charlo going toe to toe with Brook, those uppercuts inside woulda put Mallow to sleep. Same for Harrison or Hurd.

That said, I think the ceiling on Spence may very well be ATGness. Maybe a top 5-10 147-168lb fighter.

He's certainly exibited all the offensive prowess of a great, but.....and this is huge......he still hasnt had his chin checked.

Is Brook the guy to do it....Not certain. He bowled over mandatories in Bizier and Dan and his power seems top tier, even rocking GGG.

But....it's so difficult to know if the weight drain, and that orbital repair are gonna allow him to go full throttle.

This is a fight I wish coulda happened in a few yrs at 154, but.....for now, Im gonna say experience wins the day, and Brook survives a few scares, while scoring some KDs himself en route to a 116-111 type win.

:) Right now I expect brook to beat PAC, Bradley and Garcia. Thurman is a 50/50, will give FMJ a hard fight but Floyd would win a decision.

You are joking right? Have you read anything about the fight? What his coaches and nutritionists are saying are saying? They say he can cut weight like this once, maybe twice, more.

Looking at pictures from training and how well he has taken the weight off he could be in the prime of his life, I think Kell hurts him early in the fight and finishes it in the mid rounds.

No disrespect to Spense I could be wrong he's a good fighter but he's fighting a prime beast in Brooke who has been in with some good operators. He loves fighting southpaws to plus home advantage ... if Spence does win I will doff my cap to him as I think would be one of teh best wins of recent memory.

    Spence will utterly molest him.

    Violent KO in round 2.

Yea gotta go with my own criteria USUALLY here...Talent over experience. Spence must think he could win going over seas? I also think he knows he has to work harder for a win should a close fight take place. I think what i see is Brook lasting though..i look for a fight where everyone is waiting for that one punch from brook to end it, but Spence JUST staying in distance winning on points. very hard fight bc Spence has nothing to actually gauge on to Brook?

The swing factor for me actually is the less damaged/fresher fighter and going off each last few fights..

Might change but i would take Spence UD...maybe even SD.

He's probably banking on Ian John-Lewis being named the referee: that way, should Spence lose, Staminakills can blame Ian John-Lewis -- who is not a referee, but THE referee -- for nullifying Spence and not allowing the Duke of Dude Wipes to fight his fight.

Isn't Mayweather now technically inactive, and currently angling to beat up a guy who hasn't even had a single solitary pro boxing contest?

I think Spence will TKO him around the 11th or 12th rounds.... ref stoppage or corner throwing in towel.

That would be EPIC, and send literally SHOCKWAVES and FEAR thru the 147-160lb divisions.
