Nope, you are confusing making a prediction with respect. I respect every fighter that steps through those ropes and risks their health at every single level of the sport right through from amateur to professional.

I made a prediction and got it wrong, certainly wasn't the first time and it won't be the last.

If I was on here calling Spence Jr a "bum" and a "fraud" then sure you can say I was disrespectful, the fact was there were questions hanging over Spence Jr, he basically admitted that himself, he said he would prove himself and this would be his coming out party and it was.

Some very good people involved in boxing (fighters and trainers) picked a Brook win, that does not mean they were showing a lack of respect, they just thought the fight would play out a different way than it did.

 

Yes I am British but I didn't pick him for that reason. Brook was very comfortable through the first 8 rounds and was winning.

Also anyone calling Kell a quitter is an idiot. Boxing isn't worth permanently disabling yourself for.

 

I'm American and I picked Brook to win. I don't believe in a fighter until they get punched in the face. Spence passed the test as he proved he's got a good chin. I'm a Spence believer now

 

Anyone calling Kell a quitter should go up to Kell and say that. Should take about 4 seconds for Brook to lay them out
