Kell Brook vs Errol Spence Jr. prediction thread.

Almost everyone is picking Brook. After he losses I don't want to hear the millions of excuses, "brook was injured", "brook was drained", "Spence is on PEDS".

 

There should be no excuses either way. Brook appears to of made the weight and still appears to be sweating (pictures appear to show this meaning he isn't dry at the weight) and there has been drug testing for this fight. May the best man win. I'm picking brook on points

 

I just see this fight comes down how well brook can keep this fight in the middle and at long/mid range. In this range brook with his timing and jab can nullify spence. I see no reason how brook can lose this fight at that kind of range. Also i have to say that spence offense is a little predictable when he on the front foot but how will he fight on the back foot and when he cannot get inside? like porter he will get clipped all night coming inside as brooks timing is VERY good. i just feel this is down to how brook fights and can he maintain the pace of spence for 12 rounds. I think he can and i go for a points win for brook. Skill for Skill brook just has a little more IF he keeps the shots going discouraging spence coming in mid/close range.

 

I already have butterflies in my stomach in anticipation of this fight. Better matchup IMO than GGG/Canelo.

 

Super pumped for this fight, I agree this will be a lot better and lot more technical than GGG vs Canelo, two fighters who fight as though their feet are stuck in quicksand.

The interesting thing to me is how will spence get inside v brook.That's his real strength but how can he negate brooks jab and he has slower feet than brook,brooks also quite good on the ropes at pivoting off and getting back to the centre of the ring. He also has to deal with brooks straight right as he tries to step in. Against bundu and algieri he was able to counter them then step inside, i'm not sure this will work with brook

 

Spence is going to put a Haglerization on Brook like the Marvelous One put on Alan Minter.

 

Bundu managed to tag him also. If Kell Brook lands them shots I see no way back for Spence

Going with the hype. Brook is good but no great. I think i have seen his limits.
Spence seems to be getting better.
Should be competitive til Spence takes him out.

 

On the assumption that Brook's efforts to make weight haven't been too demanding and that he's still got a good 12 rounds in him, I'll go for Brook; close UD.
