Im in complete agreement that this mandatory business is a complete mess ( no fault of brooks)
However having suffered a semi serious leg injury it's the perfect opponent for him to come back with. Test the waters. Defeat your mandatory. Shake off the post title cloud 9 frame of mind etc etc

    Wonder who khan will fight?

I won't be slagging off his opponents until the one after this. Let's see who he fights when he has his mandatory out of the way.

khan has said pacman, bradley or marquez

if he failed to secure any of those and got some tune up then everyone should bash khan

Looking forward to seeing how his leg holds up. Hopefully he's busy this year and gets a big fight after this one.

Kell Brook is going to defend his IBF Welterweight belt against Jo Jo Dan at the 28th of March.
Not really a bout people were hoping for I guess, but maybe JoDa can pull a couple of jedi mindtricks and pull the upset.

Kell Brook would win, Dan is outmatched here.

I really believe that Jo Jo believes he can beat Brook, too.

This will be quite a display of bravery - and counter-punching brutality. :!:

    Jo Jo by TKO

Brook's leg will fall off & he'll be there for the taking.

He beat the rated (and previously unbeaten) Kevin Bizier, twice, in Bizier's own backyard.

That alone squares away his contender status, even if his resume since the loss in the Aydin rematch is otherwise unremarkable.

He is the epitome of a not very talented but extremely hard working fighter. I don't see how you can begrudge him clawing his way into a shot like this.

Waste of Brook's time? Yeah, kind of - but fair is fair and Dan has earned the right to be schooled (and maybe stopped).

European level welterweight (B- level by world standards).

Had a pair of tough fights with Selcuk Aydin, and a pair of tough fights with Kevin Bizier.

Not a great challenger, but a deserving one going by the rules.

He's an incredibly hard worker, and deserves respect.

His name is Ionut Dan Ion. Not Donut.
