Im an Aussie. Spotted Horn as a world class fighter in his second pro fight. Had sudden improvement for his 1st 15 fights. Then stagnated. Went backwards. Now he throws right hand leads, left hook leads, ignores the body, and is a head hunter. Absolutely fit. Super fit. 'Beat' Pacman with fitness. Should this fight happen, Horn will never beat Kel Brook, even on his best day. Horn is a walking victim. Fit, limited, ready to be exposed. https://www.news.com.au/sport/boxin...k/news-story/2678d46614791e4529324f745f5fd8f8
Doubt it happens. Brook's purse is too high for them to get a decent fight for him on Regular Sky, and don't see this being a PPV. Hearn gotta take Brook to the US and spend DAZN money just to get a recognisable name, will be Vargas.
Horn is big and strong at welterweight. Kell no longer is. Horn could bully Kell rounds 6-12. I don't see Eddie allowing this high risk/low reward fight take place.
50/50 fight? What's Jeff Horn ever done other than beat faded fighters? When he stepped up he got outclassed and battered.
Brook is shot. If he's got 75% of what he was around the time he beats Porter he will beat Horn as well, but Jeff is big strong, an ugly fighter who isnt pretty on the high but has a high work rate a style Kell may find hard to deal with. Prime Kell wins this easily but the version we saw last time out probably gets bullied to a decision loss. Horn hasn't got loads of great wins - neither does Kell; but hes the fresher fight
Aye tbis fight is similar to Degale v Eubank in that it hinges on what the better boxer has left in the tanks.
Brook might struggle against Horn's constant headbutts. Should have been DQ'd against Pac, whereas Crawford was smart enough to expect the head coming in and use it against him.
As someone whose never been sold on brook(or the ingle style) which relies heavily on youth and reflex i would fancy horn to walk through a frail brook
