Kell Brook vs. Lovemore N'Dou RBR

Brook throws a change-up jab, first stiff and then flicked as he doubles it without first pulling it back. Signs of life from N'Dou who claps away with both arms ramming down as Brook just eases off and backslides. Brook now dances around on the outside and lands jabs to the belt line. Clinch. N'Dou taps him about the kidney, leaning his chiseled shoulder blade into him. Clapping arm shots by N'Dou up top. Brook ignores them, and focuses on keeping his arms free in the clinches. Nice double jab and right cross by Brook, all landing as N'Dou leans over with his guard sinking. Wild shots by N'Dou, lunging as Brook sidesteps. Right hand and then left upper-hook by Brook, scraping the wobbly guard of N'Dou. Clinch. Double jab, right hand, and uppercut from Brook put N'Dou back to the ropes.

I agree; it was a good comeback effort but he still lost it IMO.

 

Round 8

Brook throws his jab out straight, but a bit lazy. N'Dou dodges left and right, bowling his fists in from either side as he tilts forward/aside along bishop lines (for all you chess masters). Brook is completely relaxed as he pot shots with jabs on the outside, not having to waste too much energy as N'Dou has put the pressure on hold while trying to regroup and plan out his attacks. Just a few overhand slaps from N'Dou. HARD combo by Brook backs N'Dou to the ropes, thumping his head as if there weren't a pair of large padded cushions in the way. N'Dou is staggering a bit at the end of this comparatively slow round.

Round 9

N'Dou is windmilling his right hand, missing by miles. N'Dou lands a left hook! Wow, dumb shot taken by Brook. It was slow and telegraphed and he didn't even attempt to counter the wide-open mug of N'Dou as he just cannon-balled in with his wings spread. Clapping left hooks inside by N'Dou. Nice little sequence!! Left and right crooked-elbow power shots on the inside, just working his arms in short and ferocious motions. This is some nice violence after a lull that had lasted the better part of two rounds. BODY PUNCHES by N'Dou! Brook is getting largely outworked here! Right hand by Brook, and a clinch. Brook warned to watch his head while grabbing on. Shoeshine by Brook.
