IBF final eliminator, Galahad v Marrero is a good fight.

Quite possibly. If Brook is 80% of his best he would win imo but I do not think he is.

Mightn't be a big name internationally but DeLuca is a serious fighter. Was a local gym legend around here (Boston area) for a long time and considered our best prospect as far as potentially reaching world class heights. Fought on national television here stateside a few times, most recently on the Andrade vs. Sulęcki undercard.

Might be an upset risk, if Brook looks especially worse than before with the rust.

Also where Brook fought Rabchenko and Zerafa... that's his stomping grounds, now, probably until he packs in. Too small for MW and reckon he can't make WW anymore.

He hasn’t fought for over a year, at a time he needs to be active to get a meaningful fight. I remember people on here suggesting he was as bad as he was against Zerafa on purpose hahaha. Not interested one bit unless he fights Liam Smith or someone of that ilk. That fight should have happened a few years ago, always thought Smith would have done him.

2-4 years ago I'd have picked Brook to beat Liam Smith. Nowadays I'd pick Smith. Probably by stoppage too.

I think there's a good chance Brook is shot to bits, but I'd very happily proven wrong, it would be great to see Brook get himself back up there in the mix, but I just don't see it. His age, his inactivity, issues with motivation and dedication, his beatings from Golovkin and Spence make me think Brook is done and won't be shocked at all if he gets beat off a Mark DeLuca type.

Brooks is a broken man, physically and mentally. Eddie’s going to milk Brook to get that last pound of flesh, and then kick him to the curb. Time for Brook to hang em up, and go back to his late night cruising.

When you’re already a broken man the last thing you need is someone eating your best shots and smiling back in your face. Smith would break (what’s left of) Kel’s heart and I wouldn’t be surprised if he stopped him in the latter rounds.

P.S. Very good performance from Liam Smith again last night.

I think he’s looking for one last big one at WW. Hearn has said this is at a catch weight of 151.

my guess is If Brook gets the Crawford or Khan fight he will be at 147

Prime Brook vs Crawford would have been hell of a fight. Not really interested in seeing it now.

Brook should have taken the Hurd fight when it was offered to him. Even worse is that he had to decline the Cotto fight due to being too out of shape (and we all know what happened to Cotto vs Ali). That fight would have catapulted Kell back into the mix.

He probably could have got Pacquiao or Canelo off the back of a Cotto win. Just jokes really.

Just one bad decision after another.

Ha ha, on the Joshua gloves are off Bellew said ‘nobody has ever smiled when they get punched in the face’.... I thought your old gym mate does it all the time, he’s mad.
