The outcome of this fight all depends on just how shot Brook is, how he reacts to being out for a year and after a bad showing. Who knows where his head is at, who knows if his heart is in it anymore either. IF he has his head straight and really trained hard and is a revitalized fighter, he should be able to beat DeLuca fairly handily. But... if he doesn't have his head straight, isn't in great shape, gasses like he did against Zerafa, or can't take a punch like he used to, this this is a very winnable fight for DeLuca. DeLuca is nothing extraordinary or special, but here's the catch, neither is Zerafa, they're both just really competent, good all around boxers. DeLuca's a little more slippery, defensively responsible and a little more skilled than Zerafa though. So if DeLuca shows up thinking he can win this, and can take Kell's power, and thus far, he's always shown a good chin, he might end up giving Kell hell. But like I said, which Kell are we going to get today? So when it's matches like that, with these kind of unanswerable variables.... picking a winner can be a coin flip. Although Brook fighting as a southpaw is worrying. Especially against another southpaw.

The big lad George "the Fridge" Edmundson is having a good spell for the Gers up north. Scored against Hibs midweek and was relatively solid again this afternoon in the cup on a terrible plastic pitch. Looks an absolute unit of a player, proper heavyweight centre back. Was a good signing that. Still has years to develop and will have to make way for our more experienced players in the Europa League later this month but I can see him being a stalwart at Ibrox a couple seasons down the line. Good luck to Oldham for the rest of the season.
