I'm looking forward to seeing Baron Darker on the undercard, hopefully a nice solid opponent, like Golovkin. :yep

Should be a good scrap. I predict a late or early stoppage for either man. Failing that a safety first ud or desperate sd. Not sure for which man though. TBA is tough/chinny/slick/Koki_Kameda.:think

  6. Barker will probably be over ten rounds, not a quick knockover job but someone just to build a bit of confidence.

Really we need to see him, Macklin and Murray get it on at some stage in 2012.

I really hope Matt takes him the 12, otherwise this place will be unbearable with Brook nuthuggers. Might have to take refuge in the general.

so this is kell brook stepping up in class, someone who sounds like luis collazo (but not luis collazo), and now magic matthew hatton.

Should be for some kind of WBA/IBF title. The winner will be ranked very high.

I was worried that Brook would be fed a succession of 'international' opponents while they try to land him a world title shot, so am pleased that he is taking a losable, domestic fight that actually means something instead. Good fight. We'll also find out a lot about Brook, at last.

    This.

Domestic fights are always worth making, especially if they're promoted and hyped right which this one will be. Even if it turns out to be a complete mismatch, the general public will be interested to see what Brook does next and it'll keep his name in

Is it as good promoting as putting Brook against Michael Jennings in Birmingham at 12 am on an undercard of 7 decent fights that nobody will really remember just to make it a pay per view though? Meh.. Allegedly will disagree.

The british fans love the domestic dust ups so we reallly cant be surprised about this.

Im looking forward to it actually. Hatton is a decent fighter no matter what people say. He went the distance with Alvarez when he seems to be stopping everyone latley.

The only problem i have is this is not a step toward world class. If he got a shot at one of the divisions elite, it would be too much of a gap of class. He will probably have another fight or two anyway cause i can see him being frozen out at the top for a while. Hes not a big name and is quite a risk for anyone.

But still, a decent fight and one im looking forward to.

Brook late stoppage in a fairly well balanced fight.
