Ortiz is probably a lot bigger in the ring, probably just as fast, and is very aggressive early on. Kell's not got the defensive skills that Peterson and Mayweather used to put him off.

But Ortiz hates getting hit. If Brook works on keeping tight defensively and lands that right hand counter enough early in the fight, he can probably cruise to a points win.

Ortiz is very unpredictable but at this moment he has to be the pick it's the same with Berto imo

mayweather showed that if you hit ortiz with shots and combos he pretty much gives in.......if you ask me ortiz was glad to get sparked out in the 4th cos it was only prolonging the agony imo.

brook could hit ortiz with ease and get him out of there.......nice bit of rhyme work there! :)

We're talking about Floyd Mayweather here.

Ortiz give in against Floyd because he couldn't hit him, and everytime he tried he got boshed in the face.

Brook isn't gonna' be able to do that because he fight's totally different. Brook will be there for Ortiz to land on, Floyd wasn't

Brook has had a lot of early wins on his log, he needs a few more fights before he goes with either of above, he's good and will be up with them late next year, beating them' it s a different story?

i think he would stand more of a chance with berto, ortiz will take him into a war and will be more of an exciting fight, which ortiz may win on points, berto on the other hand, i think kell could do him.

Ortiz comes in the ring 160lb plus power and mixed at higher class. I cant see Kell beating either Ortiz/ Berto

First, I'd put him in against Soto-Karass. It would do him a lot of good if he could go the full 12 rounds against a tough live opponent who will test anybody if he steps in against them. It should be a good fight in which Brook will take a W from, but the experience a guy like Soto-Karass gives you is invaluable.

Next, I'd put him in against Mike Jones. MJ is one of America's brightest prospects, but is far from unbeatable. He makes a lot of mistakes and is still quite green, while Kell Brook makes very little mistakes and fights with so much intelligence. I think this would be a winnable fight in which Brook would get some main stage exposure and put his name in there for a title shot.

Then it would be the the world title oppertunity in my opinion. Given that he still has it, I'd like to see Brook challenge for the WBA title from Senchenko, which I think he would win without too much trouble and it would give him some strong letters to his name.

Then he has the options. I'd probably go through Mosley, Ortiz, Berto and then the superfight, Khan, who I'd assume has himself a WW title at that time.

With some clever match making, Brook can go all the way.

Kell has to get a more legitimate win under his belt pre Khan. I am not hyped for that fight yet. Kell beating Brook or Ortiz would achieve that.

All 3 have talent with their speed, agility, reflexes and power but only Ortiz and Berto are proven in what they can achieve. Kell still hasn't had that world class step up which really shows his ability.

Totally agree, watched the stoppage fight today again and he did look good. Just as many before me thought he was being overhyped by sky think he looks like a decent prospect hope he does well, and is not going to take on fights that are a step to far to soon.
