There were some rumours about this match possibly happening, before the Canelo-Mosley bout took place

After watching Shane getting wrecked by Canelo, pretty sure Kell's managers salivated at the possibility of adding Mosley's HOF name to Kell's bum-filled resume.

Big name and shot to smitherens are really tempting qualities for a young fighter who wants to build his marketability like Kell.

Kell has also shown a tendency to feast on Canelo's leftovers in the past (Hatton, N' Dou)

And with Mosley most probably unwilling to hang the gloves anytime soon and still living off his name, I'd say this match could eventually happen

As much as I don't like Brook he would be the first to stop him

Yup, he could become the very first fighter to stop iron chinned grandpa Mosley, imagine what that would do to his marketability:deal

come on man....no he wouldnt. shane's shot but his chin is still teak tough. a stoppage isn't a possibility, especially a clean KO. he would beat shane though, and I honestly wish that shane would retire before that fight could ever happen. shane's too great of a fighter and too good of a person to be a mere gatekeeper for future stars.

His iron chin wont save him from a referee stoppage if he's getting clocked clean with punches continuously, I agree that he should retire before hurting his legacy further but i'm afraid he'll be another Roy Jones.

dont overestimate the casual fans, all they need is to hear that Kell stopped a legendary HOF'er that had never been stopped before, not even by the likes of Pac, Floyd or DLH, and the hype train will roll on hard

Calzaghe came, left and no one gave a **** really. Ancient Jones did over 400k PPV buys against ancient Trinidad and did 180k against Calzaghe, that explains it really.

All of a sudden these guys are making a Hall of Fame legend, Shane Mosley, into a Jeff Lacy. A notable name everyone beats up to score a fight with one of the elites. :bart

I think Shane realizes that he's done now.

It's getting to the point where beating Mosely isn't that big a of deal. He is beyond shot, he is embarrassing now. Looks confused and lost in the corner, no power, takes too many punches. He is in Holyfield territory now. Just stop already. I know his wife took him to the cleaners but damn.
