I see Brook is back to his customary level of opposition. Hopefully he can get past this guy, but for a man who went life and death with Carson Jones it is by no means a given.
It's sad to see Brook reduced to this. All that potential he had! He's a warrior but a **** poor decision maker who's made poor career choices. Bit of a waste.. Should have plugged away at WW longer & then tried LMW. MW was clearly a career ruiner! Then eases himself back in with Spence! Respect but he had so much potential.. He's every bit as talented as the Framptons & Saunders of the world! He'll never really realize it now though.. GGG ruined him. Like Fury in some ways, another waste of a potentially great career.
Which leaves the door ajar for Rabchenko, who is going to be desperate like a cornered animal to keep himself afloat on the high seas, amidst the flotsam and jetsam of never-were, has-been and probably-not-gonna-happen irrelevancies - a long way to paddle to Contention Bay. Can a very good fighter with their heart no longer in the sport lose to a so-so fighter who's much hungrier? I feel like we've seen that before. Question is, how big a disparity exists between Rabchenko's present level of desire and Brook's, and does it cover the SIZABLE gap in skill & talent between them?
Rabchenko is a pretty good fringe contender. Beat Rhodes and Vitu. Unless Brook is shot though, he'll win.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Brook lost he seems to have lost his motivation listening to him in his recent interviews
