IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook is booking his plane ticket for Las Vegas. The unbeaten champion, who faces mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan this Saturday night at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, will be present - with promoter Eddie Hearn - at the MGM Grand on May 2nd.

If all goes well on Saturday, Brook will be sitting ringside as Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao trade punches for the WBO/WBA/WBC welterweight titles.

Brook appears to be tipping Mayweather to win and wants to fight him next with all of the four titles at stake.

I bet Khan is crying right now

And people in hell want ice water. Brook can want any fight he choses. I don't believe the chances of him landing the winner of this fight are very good at this time.

    so does khan, cotto, thurman...

all these fighters need to f stop trying to get in ring with manny and floyd and face each other; the ducking is getting ridiculous. None of them deserve a shot at Manny or Floyd, they all need to face each other and then talk.

  5. Kell Brook needs a big name on his ledger to even be considered. Porter was an excellent win (especially since Porter battered Alexander and Malignaggi), but Brook needs to take out Thurman, Khan, or Maidana.

Completely agree with this, with a victory over the likes of Khan or Thurman he would be deserved of a shot at one of them. Brook vs Khan makes sense as both are desperate for a shot at Floyd or Manny.

    Brook/Khan/Timothy

    should be fighting one another...

Timothy Khan should have been made for June this year...but Timothy has other plans it seems.

Hopefully we get Khan Brook...Khan has been left opponentless yet again and Brook really is his best option...

Why (argueably) the next three best boxers at WW havn't managed to come to agreement is ridiculous :tired

Khan needs to break the trend and just fight Brook regardless of how much he despises him...

Forget Broner...it's a fun fight but totally pointless.

Brook/Khan in the summer and the winner can be perfectly in line for Floyds last fight

Maybe if brook defends his title not very impressively his chances might become better . Pac or mayweather whoever the winner is may want a fight they feel on the easy side and if it's for another title that could be just the sweetener needed

Fight Thurman first. Winner of that fights the winner on May 2.

I don't think so; especially if Mayweather wins. People get on his case if about cherry picking fighters if fights highly ranked fighters coming off of good wins. There would be a lot of backlash towards Mayweather if he fought a guy like Brook coming off an unimpressive performance. I personally think Mayweather and Pacquiao are going to rematch in the fall and Mayweather is then going to call it quits if he beats Pacquiao in the fall. Pacquiao could hang on, but it wouldn't surprise me if he retired as well.
