There's levels. He was always the much better overall fighter. It's a shame Brook didn't get the fame for a win like this back in his prime.
Brook would have won more convincingly 2016 and prior, I have always felt. And that was already extremely convincing tonight.
Maybe but this is not borne out by his resume. This is probably the 2nd best win on his record which tells you how much he has been feasting on Latvian electricians his whole career
Hats off to Kel. I thought he was well past it but he really pulled it out of the bag tonight. Looked comfortable and had obviously trained well. If he does take another fight I hope he does himself justice and trains just as hard as he did for tonight's fight.
I do think 5/6 years ago the result would have been the same but we would have seen Khan have a lot more success too. He had much more bounce in his legs back then which he was clearly lacking tonight. Brook looked solid and like his old self tonight.
Always better than khan, the Olympics and those fast hands brought khan all he needed, it's a funny old game, a public game.
So it begins. So much for this fight means nothing. Kell Brook will lose to anyone half decent with something in the tank. He is done the same as Khan, just not shot to all pieces. If he is smart he'll retire. So expect him to have his third eye smashed against Benn/Eubank in a few months.
Both years and years past their peak and this was simply a prize fighter loot grab. Any live body wipes out both and even a shot body wipes out Khan - sad times for both but they did it for the PPV loot and both happy behind the scenes
He’s going to get offered another few million quid to fight Benn. He ain’t retiring lol excuse me I didn’t read the last sentence lol
