I can't believe this fight is getting discussed like it has any relevance, they were both absolutely shot versions of themselves, it's like two veterans sides playing each other at football. A lot of the qualities that ether had in their prime years were almost completely gone, Khan couldn't stay elusive at all and his speed was gone. All this said, Brook couldn't put the worst version of Khan down because his power has waned. It was an awful fight really, only made entertaining because both have declined enough to be sloppy and make themselves easier to hit. There is still 25% of me that thinks that if that round had been allowed to continue Khan might have been able to go the distance because after 6 or 7 rounds of going at it I think Brook would start to nosedive rapidly, Khan might have even started to take control and possibly get himself back into the fight. It doesn't matter though, it was a brilliant example of how the way boxing is run can ruin what should have been a massive, truly massive fight if it happened anywhere near when it should have had.
Khan was getting stopped regardless. He had nothing left and even if brook got tired Khan had nothing in his punches to hurt Brook.
Khan was always easy work for kell. His style was all wrong for him. Powerful strong and accurate. Yet another shellacking to add to Khans resume to quote david haye, it was as one sided as gang ****
This was a last big pay day for Khan and Brook in fact .. Khan been shot for years now .. he should of retired after the Crawford loss his legs, stamina, work rate , handspeed, reflexes all off or gone now ... He not fought for nearly 3 years.. he just talked a big game to sell PPV buys .. In his prime 8 years ago it was a complete different Khan .. he would of schooled Brook back then .. when he had his legs and work rate fitness..
8 years ago Kell went to LA and took the unbeaten Shawn Porter's world title. Khan was coming off the back of getting floored by Julio Diaz in front of 1500 people in Sheffield. The only time he schooled Kell was in his imagination.
