Trying to squeeze this in, between the many Amir Khan threads, so did anyone catch Brook's performance last night? granted it was against a nobody but he's WBO #1 and in contention for a world title fight. Is he ready to mix it with the likes of Pacman, Cotto, Berto etc?

I want to see him in with a guy like Quintana or Collazo next.

No he's not ready for Floyd and Pacquiao, but him vs Mike Jones or Canelo Alvarez would be good and then maybe Berto

I like his style, picks shots very well, good power in both hands (not sure how it translates on the world stage) but looks heavy handed, decent footwork.

I feel he totally hammers Matt Hatton. Hatton at the moment is feasting on euro fighters with dodgy records.

He'd beat Mike Jones right now, but too early for the world class. I'm still not convinced of Brook's mental strength, chin and stamina under effective pressure, you know, in a kind of tough fight where he has to grind out the win showing he has what it takes to be a champ. That'd come with tougher opposition, and I don't like the idea of putting him in with the best next year. These step-up fights are important, but I like what I've seen so far, genuine talent. DeGale stole the Warren show though, that kid is the future of UK boxing.

I didn't see anything special about him in this video. I hear a lot about him, but he needs to fight someone like Collazo and then we all can talk. He is the number one contender to Pac. That spells victim to me right now. I have yet to see DeGale.

Fight a name fighter. Stop with European level fighters. Warren is an a-hole.
