I think Kell would time him well, and set him up for that right hand. Alexander can be hit, and if someone limited like Bailey was able to land, then I think Kell would do some damage

yeah its no wonder he wants to fight **** competition like saldivar, because when a guy with 8 losses kicks his ass , he wants to stay as far away to a legit top 10 contender

Hmmm...I tend to be of the opinion win this one and look good in the next one. Boxing is a tough sport and loses mean millions of dollars gone bye-bye. I don't much have a problem with Alexander. The guy that shouldn't be paid is the meek excuse for s champion that threw less then two hundred punches. That was ****ing awful. And in the next fight the champion gets up from 6 knock downs trying to hold onto his title....thats how a champion is supposed to lose his tittle.

its well documented he did all his strength and conditioning himself fo that fight, his diet was home-made etc, no nutrionist at all....a mistake he wont make again.

    Agree. :thumbsup

He's not a better fighter, Brook is the better fighter and once he starts mixing it at World level (next year) he'll show that he is an elite fighter, he's won all but one of his fights without breaking sweat, and that fight (Carson Jones) was all about stamina/fitness, he was by far the more skilled fighter until he gassed.

How can the Special One be nothing Special :patsch:nut

Messed that one up eh? :yep;)

Matchroom do have deep pockets, outside of boxing they are involved in other sports. For a world title fight, Brook can probably fill out a stadium with 30,000 fans & I doubt Alexander could do the same. If they can put it on PPV on Sky then it might generate more £ than a fight in St Louis & if it makes money, it makes sense.

GBP/Alexander will be looking for a bigger name instead, I wont be surprised if he fights someone else next.

~SIGH~, yet another Euro hype-job. First Cleverly, now Brook. It never ends, however it will be entertaining to watch both of these clowns fail and then laugh at the pathetic excuse that ensue. Let the circus begin!!!!

he looked good this weekend end, albeit against middling opps. Nice to see a new Brit on the scene.

First time I seen him in action, the first thing that struck me apart from the good performance, was that hes very ripped for his weight class, might suggest stamina issues given that extra weight hes carrying.

Not seen Cleverly hyped recently, he needs to actually fight someone to get people talking.

Anyway he isnt in the same class as Brook, who is the real deal.

Carson Jones is tough, underrated and a solid fighter. He came to fight 12 hard rounds, and Brook didn't take the challenge seriously. It was a baptism of fire, and Kell came away with the win.

Lots of greats struggled early on, Wladimir Klitschko got stopped by Ross Purrity, Sanders and Brewster before he became the fighter he was. Ali struggled with the likes of Henry Cooper, Pacquiao with Torrecampo and Singsurat. One below par performance doesn't make Brook a hypejob, his talent speaks for itself :-:)-(
