Kell Duck has done nothing to deserve to a fight with Devon he should fight Mike Jones. Alexander is way too skilled for a plodding second hand Garcia.

Brook has already travelled over to America and fought on the Ward-Froch undercard

It would be no problem for him to go into Alexander's backyard, in fact it would be easier, as the pressure would be on Devon :deal

Racer I always enjoy your posts and respect your knowledge and opinion, but you are dead wrong on this one homey. Alexander despite receiving a couple gifts is still a level above Kell, and has been in with the world level opposition. He had a very close fight with Matthysse (I did have Lucas winning on my card, but it was close) and from what I watched I can certainly see a case being made that he won that fight. Kotelnyk is another matter, however the point is he is proven against some of the best in the division.

Brook has beaten a couple good fighters, although if Jones had started a round sooner I still believe we could have seen a different outcome in that fight. He has a decent win against Hatton, but again nothing of world level, Alexander would be a entire 2 steps up from anyone Kell has already fought. Plus I'd be willing to bet you money, now that Devon is a champion again, if Brook does land a fight with him it will be in the Lou, and if Alexander couldn't get the job done with his skill alone (which I believe he could) the judges will never allow him to lose on the cards, the Kotelnyk fight proved that. Alexander is too fast, can be too accurate and just to slick to be caught by anything meaningful from the imo very deliberate Kell Brook.

There is no denying Kell could land as Devon despite his vast speed advantage is very hittable. Damage on the other hand, is a stretch, as you just said Bailey was able to land with flush right hands, and even the uppercut, and it had little if any effect. Now despite all of Bailey's infinite limitations he is still hands down one of the hardest punchers, if not the hardest puncher South of HW. If Alexander can take Bailey's punch and not be phased, Brook's average (maybe slightly above) power is not going to be much of a factor, as far as making DA think twice before rambling off his nonsense pity-pat punches.

I like Kell, I hope he gets the fight, and I'd like to see him win. Then get the big fight with Khan and destroy him as well. I just don't think he makes it past Alexander with the victory.
